This feels like something you'd hear on a night when you are struggling to sleep and you dont know whats a dream and reality with you just laying on the bed in the dark while hearing this outside in the neighborhood.
This song used to always play in my dads car. I have a rough relationship with him now and it reminds me of how sometimes kids don’t even see how bad the things their parents do really are and how it affects their mental health.
A couple of years late, but I hope, if you haven't already, that you're able to find a way to reclaim this beautiful song as something you can associate with a person or event far better than anything you ever put up with your dad. I've been struggling to find music that helps me concentrate at work. This takes me back to when I started at my first job; they loved to listen to 80s rock/pop and I started to really like it too.
This song makes me feel nostalgic for a place that no longer exists, that died out over 40 years ago. I was not alive around that time, but when I see videos of that place, it makes me feel nostalgic. RIP Rhodesia.
