- This is still to the day one of the coolest snowboarding trips I have gone on. Beartooth Basin is so different and unique. I have never been to another resort that matches this one on the same level of awesomeness.

I'm from this area and skied it many times. You hit it right on the head, it is definitely gnarly, do not go if you are a novice skier also, if you have not skied big mountains you might struggle a bit. Also, you can always fly into Billings, MT and its about a 1.5 to 2 hour drive from there. If you want to stay at a motel or air bnb, there are many available in the city of Red Lodge which is about 30 min away. Best time to come is in June, the road going to the area is not open from Labor day to Memorial day so keep that in mind. It is only open until the snow up there melts so you never know when that will be since it depends on how quickly it warms up. Keep up the good work on this channel.

This is awesome. Definitely saving for later. One day I’ll have enough money to buy a snowboard and gear to finally take up this amazing hobby
I am so stoked to hear a place like this exists within a days drive from Colorado. Never heard of it and definitely want to check it out .
This area is also sweet because you can watch everybody get hammered and hit the jumps while cornices break and tumble further into the cirque
Beartooth is a great spot, I had some of the best times of my life there, we camped up top in a thunderstorm, definitely an experience. I hope to catch you there next summer bro

Dude if you want to ski in “our” summer, you should head south of the equator (Argentina/Chile). I did Bariloche a few year back and loved it, developed/beautiful/affordable.
