HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! Been far too long, I explain why in my Community tab!
Decided to add an extra episode here and glad I did. The worst generation finally make it to the rooftop alongside Kaido and Big Mom. A very touching tribute to Ace which described his friendship with Yamato was very well presented. Luffy finally uses Ryuo against Kaido with his new move Red Roc and MAKES HIM BLEED!!!!!!

What a phenomenal episode man. This episode adapted chapter 1000, titled "Monkey D. Luffy", it was such a monumental chapter which is why the production popped off this episode.
From here onwards, Roof Piece starts.

Well since you brought up the chapter name here is a fun fact. Chapter 999 and chapter 1000 has cover pages such that you can connect the two images to get a full wider image that matches perfectly. Also it looks like it applies for the chapter titles. If we connect the chapter titles as well we get, "The Sake I Brewed to Drink With You" + "Straw Hat Luffy"

OP 1015 might be the greatest direction I've ever seen an anime episode take. From the beautiful lighting/animation, the cinematic music choice, and even the narrative transitions it took from Yamato → ASL Backstory → Supernovas → Roof Piece. I'm not a big fan of the OP anime (I read the manga), but this episode definitely looks like something out of a movie. Great reaction!

Kaido's DF is the japanese legend of a Magikarp swimming up a waterfall and evolving into a Gyarados. Hence the Flying Type and the Hyper Beam.
