    "...it's also about being proactive and inviting voice. You can't just say 'well gee, I'm really eager to hear from people and I'm sure they know that...' You have to be proactive. You have to say 'what's on your mind?' What are you seeing? What concerns do you have? What questions do you have?' and make it more difficult for people to remain silent than speak up because you've issued those invitations. And then, of course, it really matters how you respond... you must not shoot the messenger." SO important and so true. Thanks for this great breakdown on psychological safety!! We're excited to see what this new and changing work ecosystem can create.

    The video reminds me of the time I performed a pump head calc for the engineer of record. He had grossly underestimated it, and pump wasn't large enough, and he took it out on me with anger. That's one of many examples I have of psychological insecurity in the workplace.
