The child in this video is my son, Henrik. When they shot this video they asked my wife if she had a picture of the two of them together when he was younger. That's the picture he pulls out of his pocket at 3:25. What Gavin (the director) or his crew didn't know was that my wife was already battling cancer at the time. She never mentioned anything. She was private and we kept that away from most people. But for us personally, the video… the story, hit even harder….
This past Thursday August 12, 2021, we lost our beautiful mother/wife. Devastated and heartbroken aren't strong enough words. She was an amazing mother (to our 3 boys and angel daughter) and wife. She was selfless to the end. It was all about her children. They were her everything. She was so proud. We do, and we will always love you Marina.
Marina was amazing. I have such a vivid memory of directing that day. Windsor, Ontario, Canada has always been a wonderful place for me to create music videos and films and that day is no exception. Talented and selfless people willing to believe in my ideas and passion for storytelling. I have enjoyed many great conversations with Marina and I am so happy that herself and Henrik were able to see SYML live in concert having contributed in such a significant want to his music with this video. You have my love and my favour all of the time. My condolences for your loss. I smiled ear to ear reading your comment today and appreciate you sharing such insight into Marina.
@@gavinmichaelbooth Thank you so much for your kind words Gavin. You created an unbelievable video and we were/are honoured that Henrik was/is a part of it. Marina was so proud when the video first came out, but also when you started to gain recognition for it, which is very well deserved. I can still hear her calling us over and the excitement in her voice when she first came across the video or when she noticed that you were being nominated for an award. The boys and I wish you all the continued success, and above all: love, health and happiness.

"Everything All At Once" is so important to me, and I knew I wanted the video to be equally moving. As soon as I saw the treatment that Gavin, the director, sent, I felt tears in my eyes. I love thinking about music in visual terms, and what Gavin has created is both vivid and beautiful.

The music video really compliment the song. SYML and Sleeping at Last both are underrated. They create masterpiece. Their music can take you to another world. People really need to listen to them so that their hearts can feel whatever my heart feels and we all can cry together. 😭
I'm a huge fan of them too. I'm introducing as many as possible to them, they are so underrated! In my country (Italy) there are few people that pay attention to such masterpieces and I'm trying to help them discover this whole new universe.
