I can't, and I mean I can't, tell you how much these songs mean to me, *especially* The War. I remember listening to this album back in 8th grade when I was at my absolute lowest, never moving and never trying. When I tell you this song latched on to me from the very beginning, I mean it. SYML was so much to me when I was 14. It's a miracle I'm alive.

The lyrics in Wildfire make me feel like there is hope for my desolate situation. There are definitely moments when I feel like I am not enough because of the abuse I have endured, but the broken parts of me are still me. They make me venerable and raw. It is beautiful when we get to a place of accepting the broken pieces of ourselves enough to share them with others.

Been listening to this stream for a while now. At times on a loop. I can say that almost every time I discover something new. It's either some verse I didn't pay too much attention to, some background sound I didn't perceive at first, the tempo, song logic and so on. All in all, I am confident in saying I've not gotten bored :) Now.. the emotions in me each track brings to surface.. can't describe the feeling. You go from joy to melancholy, from smiling to crying. Complete carousel of emotions.. and I love it. The lyrics in Wildfire make me feel like there is hope for my desolate situation. There are definitely moments when I feel like I am not enough because of the abuse I have endured, but the broken parts of me are still me. They make me venerable and raw. It is beautiful when we get to a place of accepting the broken pieces of ourselves enough to share them with others.

Been listening to this stream for a while now. At times on a loop. I can say that almost every time I discover something new. It's either some verse I didn't pay too much attention to, some background sound I didn't perceive at first, the tempo, song logic and so on. All in all, I am confident in saying I've not gotten bored :) Now.. the emotions in me each track brings to surface.. can't describe the feeling. You go from joy to melancholy, from smiling to crying. Complete carousel of emotions.. and I love it. That UA-cam is responsible for the suggestions, true, and thanks to this, I got to attend an "Of Monsters And Men" gig in Barcelona. Me, a person who didn't know OMAM before YT suggestions..
