- when i was young and in love i wrote a song and made a video about being young and in love - the sweetness, the dreaminess, the awkwardness, the untouched and not-yet-jaded rose-coloured view of the world. it stars a lovely team of high school dancers who captured that feeling perfectly. years later, i decided to revisit and re-edit the footage (while keeping my glasses as rosy as possible, despite no longer being quite so young or in love). i hope it also gives all of you a chance to revisit this old song, because it forever has such a special place in my heart.

This is literally one of the most beautiful songs to ever exist and I am both grateful and mad at the same time that it is soo criminally underrated if u know what I mean. No other song has ever made me feel the way it does. I could keep saying "beautiful" a thousand times and it'd still not be enough. Thankyou flower face for this masterpiece. i am so incredibly overwhelmed by this song, it has always been one of my favourites, but with the description i got really emotional and had a whole spiral of wanting to one day fall in love because it is such a beautiful thing to experience, yet im scared at the same time.
