Listening to Cyhra, I really don't understand those who say In Flames changed their sound because of Jesper leaving (more electronics elements, synths, post produced and clean vocals, vocal layers, catchy and easy listenable chorus etc.), Cyhra is pretty much the same, but with a lot of clean vocals more, in that powerish style that I personally don't like much, and with less memorable melodies...
I am beyond excited for this line up. I hope it really does go back to that 90s melo death sound. I have a feeling It's going to come out more like modern Dark Tranquility, or 2000s In Fames with Stanne on vocals. Either way its got to be better than modern In Flames
I'm really excited for this. I've loved Jesper's composition work in original In Flames for years. Missed it's presence in New In Flames since he left. I didn't care for the sound of The Resistance, or Cyrha, and I'm hoping for a return to a more Swedish Melodic Death Metal sound, at least somewhat, with this line up. I don't care if it's a little more modern sounding. I just want those harmony guitar riffs with some melodic complexity. I'm hoping that with these two great guitarists, we'll get some of that back.
i think Jester Race/Clayman style is a bit outdated to make something similar again in these times, i think more of a Moment/Fiction/ASOP/R2R vibe, and i guess for the elitists that will be the catch
@@zombiemachinery4868 i just want good wel written music pieces, from start to finish with some typical gothenburg sounding riffs, wether it be in the style of ASOP or Colony doesn't matter, hell even Moment is full of masterpiece riffs. It just needs to be good and most importantly not sound like the typical "american" metalcore song. But with these names im 100% sure it will be good.
IN JESPER WE TRUST!!!!!

Yes, it's cool. But i can't help but think the magic was strömblad + gelotte, and that there's one piece of the puzzle missing here.
In Flames is back 😆
Sweden melodic death metal returns.
The boys are back in town.

Exactly, I could absolutely live with 2000 In Flames, but hope for an earlier sound. Best announcement for years...
@@stephanr.3287 Just heard the song in full. Its 100% Just Dark Tranquillity.
@@thomassibley9475 Yeah it's not bad though. I wished for something more raw. Skip the synthesizer sound and bring pure guitar.
So we got In flames back this is great
Nope we didn't. The song is not bad tho

Anyone else get the quiet place vibes from the guitar
メンツおもろー!
Just heard the full track, It could just be a DT song. No real classic In Flames sound at all. Still not bad though
Ok, so what's the catch? ) I mean there are too many great musicians in this band. So....melodic K-Pop metal? Best wishes to the guys any way!
Have you ever listened to In Flames? Hahahaha f
@@Gananazo I won't comment here otherwise) now seems like this band is more In Flames than In Flames itself
