I'm glad we got the chance to record this in Toledo. Thank you, Steve, for your legacy of joy.
Never met Steve but enjoyed seeing his builds in the magazines and on the internet. RIP Steve.
Was not expecting that last frame. Just wow.
Another great interview. This is a great series. Celebrating our great hobby of model cars.
A wonderful tribute to Steve and to his creativity. Thanks for doing this video, Doug.
Thanks, Bill
Geez, I didn't realize Steve and Chopper Lear had passed. I'm 34 and have loved these guys builds since I was 10 or 12. I just finished a little deuce roadster and only build 3-4 models a year (definitely buy more than I build!) But these guys have always been a huge inspiration!
Creating my own pieces while kit bashing are now the only things I like to build after 45 years of building. Gotta love the, no rules or instructions, to follow!!
Buddy I really hope this takes off. What a great thing this is !
Happy to have shared with him for a while at the show. Amazing modeler and even better, amazing person…..
A great tribute to a great guy!
Thanks for your help on this one, Roy
What a person he was!

Thanks GUYS

Deepest Heartfelt Sympathies Go Out To The Family's Of This Extremely Talented Designer/Builder.

I've seen a number of Steve's models in Scale Auto Modeler magazine. They're very distinctive. Thank you for the interview.
Gorgeous Custom Builds!!
A man with amazing skills. Thanks for the interview.

Great video and great interview! Thanks for sharing!
Another inspiring video! Thank you😎👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
Owning a 1/1 scale 74 Matador coupe I always thought Steve's build was cool. Thanks for sharing that video with us.
Thanks!
I really enjoyed watching this video. I can quite reflect upon the mention of building kits in the early years and placing every part and decal on them, as that is what I did also. It's seldom that I build a model without giving thanks to all those who shared their talents with us and gave us the inspiration to reach just a little farther. Steve is one of these people.
Well said!
I love his attitude towards building and sharing.
Nice. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you too
Kool!
That was cool 😎
Nice man thanks for sharing
I share his philosophy to model building, build what I think looks cool. Even if it might not make sense.

7:06 It has a Internal combustion engine so it can also be powered when it comes back to Earth. Everybody knows cars that can drive on the Moon also have a Moon Drive Power module, I got mine at Sears and it came with a free Electric garage door opener
Your comment perfectly captures Steve's essence. :)
