Solid job! Doing the rear next week. One is totally weared out. Bang bang on every bump on the road. Problem is that you get used with bad shocks and adjust your driving piece by piece so you think it's okay anyhow. Then you change and realise how bad it was. Well done!
@@GeorgeAusters Siezed bolts both sides cant undo any of them..... best method? I've put penetrating oil on to soak in for now. If that doesnt help I can get hold of a mapp gas torch.. then my final option would be grinder, however I'm struggling to find replacements.
Hey George, can you do a video on where and how to run an Aerial cable through the firewall on a Corsa. thanks, I'm having trouble ..if not can you direct me to another video that can show how too. cheers. from Australia.
Hey mate, how is the suspension doing so far (front + rear)? I'm thinking of replacing both front and rear suspension on my Corsa C since it's behaving like a BOAT 😂 Is it worth it overall, is the difference that big? Thanks.
I think you have put te spring upside down. the basis of the spring is a little bit larger then the upper side....but nevertheless the spring will has his function. Greetings.
Good vid but 1 criticism is with it being a how to video you probably should of covered using the spring compressors even know u didn't need to as sadly you'll get people who just undo the top nut
@@GeorgeAusters yh that's the issue sadly people do it and they can kill when they let go it's more the spring that does the damage The garrage my dad done his apprenticeship at had 2 springs inbedded in the roof apparently
The worst car ever seen. ECU get contaminated by water after a while. Manifold get blocked and a nighmare to remove ..nothing worse than this 1.3 engine

Some struts are having really strong spring coils. Removing the retainer nut while being on top of it.. would be a fast trip to ER.
It’s why you use spring compressors, or compress the spring yourself as shown in the video👍🏻
If they were the standard size maybe, these here are lowering springs
Great video doing mine tomorrow @ 65k miles great to see its improved the drive hopefully it will be like a new car after this
Good luck mate!

Do you have access to an impact wrench?
@@GeorgeAusters yeah tried that. 1/4 drive impact

Sold this like 2 years ago👍🏻
@@GeorgeAusters Still, from your experience, is it worth changing the entire suspension? Is there a difference or money down the drain?

Wtf 😂
Yeah exploding springs will decapitate in a blink of an eye.
Those swivel to strut bolts are Torque to Yield and thus need to be replaced after being disturbed
Strongly recommending to the individuals dont follow his procedure
The way how he took out spring was wrong

@@rthollingworth Thank You very much
Crap.... This is dangerous to say the least to stay directly on top of the strut while undoing the coil retainer nut... This is a big NO NO !

Why has every u tube vid avatar got a stupid face on it
Haha
