I’ve got a zg123s that I’m going to need to pull the gas tank on. Know you’ve shown a different model but there’s enough similarities I feel good about doing the job. I concur about the spring puller. Just got a pair for only a few dollars and they’re massive time and effort savers. Wish I’d known about them years ago. Thanks a bunch for the video.
Thank you so Much I enjoy watching the video. I have the same lawn motor Kubota here in Tuscaloosa charges 125 dollars an hour I can afford that. So I have to do it myself and don't know how, with your video I am comfortable enough that I can do it myself thank you so much for Making the video.
Thanks for the video. Just as a tip I saw in another video the guy just pulled up on the turn knob for the deck height adjustment arm and the turn knob comes right off then you can just lift the console up over the shaft and not have to remove the nut from the bottom of the shaft.
How long did it take to do the job, taking tank off, replacing drive belt, and fan. Looks like it was quite a job. Enjoyed your video, I have the same mower and I think I'm going to do the same thing to mine plus I think I have a bad idler pulley making noise. May end up taking it to Kubota dealer.
Not as long as I was expecting, but I did the belt at a different time. The tank removal and reassembly for fan replacement probably took me 2 hours, plus I was having to film it and had never done it before. I think the only things to slow you down with the belt are the tension spring (if you don’t have a puller) and routing it properly. Good luck with yours.
I just had to unhook two wires from their connections at that part you are referencing to finish getting that cover off. One wire was blue and white and the other one was brown. Looking back at it I see that it could be confusing and even sound like I was talking about more than two wires. I was saying "blue and white on my right" so I knew that when I hooked them back up, that wire would go on the right side connection vs the left. Hope that helps and thanks for watching.
Thank you from Australia for both of these videos about the belt changing, really saved me a lot of stress!
Thank you. Fixing to tackle this and trade it in.

Thank you for your videos. I tand to do my own repairs, frankly because I can't afford to pay the high dollars for them to do it!
Super helpful.. thank you!

How did you keep pulley from spinning while loosening and thighten
It had enough tension on it from the belt that it didn’t try to spin on me.
I've got a Kubota z122r it's the hardest lawn mower to work on that you've ever seen....
Blue and brown on your right doesn’t make any sense. It’s either ones in the left and ones on the right which one
