Superstar! This is an excellent, clear, concise and inspiring overview that helped me immediately identify the effects and ideal settings for the output I wanted to achieve. Much faster than trying to render limitless versions - cheers!
Awesome vid. Thank you. In the vid at the end you did like a "preview" with the camera and it looked like a nice "handheld" feel to the camera. Was that something you added or were you just rotating the camera with the tool?
Holy shit. High Res 360° Video could be very useful if you're doing a scene that can't be repeated, like action/Stunt or expensive scenes and you're the type of Film maker that likes their shots to be perfect. This would give the possibility to just edit the footage in AE and save a ton of money and time.
Hi, are you using After Effects or Premiere Pro to render from? In Premiere Pro CC 2018, they have a few VR presets you can select from when you export using the H.264 Format.
14:00 Chromatic aberration/RGB split (like separate colour channels and increase displacement to make trippy)
15:00 colour gradient screens/filters
16:20 digital glitch effect (distortion, noise)
17:00 fractal noise (foggy effects? Moving screen effects lorh)
19:00 VR to plane recording
Thank you, Charles. Very helpful!
