They brought laughter for generations to the best and greatest comedian's ever of a trio something's never go out of style the Howard's and fine family would be proud and laughing always a classic to watch after all these years later appreciate a good laugh keep the laughs coming to the funniest men ever who invented slapstick and eye poking as we know it god bless you guys thanks ! Joe
Look what an amazing attitude of lovely CURLY, it's done by the great actor CURLY, I never forget that legend and his unwanted living from the world 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️😭😭😭
This is my first time seeing clips from this movie...been wanting to catch this picture for the longest time but local stations never aired it...if what I saw in this scene is any indication, time out for rhythm must be really funny...moe,Larry & curly all look to be in fine form and at the peak of their energies...
i just got this movie as part of a 2 disc dvd set also features ROCKIN IN THE ROCKIES, HAVE ROCKET, 3 STOOGED GO AROUND THE WOLD IN A DAZE N STOOGES MEET HERCURLES
1:55 - whenever Larry and Curly/Shemp/Joe Besser/ Curly Joe stand side-by-side directly in front of Moe you know we are only two seconds away from a double-slap!
This isn't from one of their two-reel Columbia shorts. It's from the 1941 feature "Time Out For Rhythm.". Occasionally (but not often), Columbia would cast the boys in a feature.
@sam zuriel It actually does. Moe usually doesn't come up with those fast one-liners. He's funny in other ways, particularly with the facial expressions. Do you notice the sadistic smile on his face as he hits Larry or Curly? Or Shemp? Funny as hell.
This movie shows them with Allan Jenkins - after Ted Healy made "Hollywood Hotel", Ted Healy WAS SUPPOSED to make the movie "Golddiggers in Paris "1938 ( yes, I have my own copy of that movie on DVD) but he was killed, so Allan Jenkins had to take his place, and also have Mabel Todd in it, as his girlfriend, before that she made two movies with Healy.
Thanks for this great piece of movie history. Allan Jenkins always had a distinct voice and he is one of my favorite character actors from the 30s and 40s.
The Stooges really didn't make much $ from their shorts though they made Columbia tons of it. Where they really cashed in was when they went on tour across the country. I would say a part in a feature film probably provided more cash than they normally received from said movies shorts.
I thought I has ALL of Three Stooges episodes on DVD and VHS, but never saw this one, even on TV. Wonder how many more Stooge shorts are stored somewhere in the can that never made it shown in public?
The boys were AMAZING. .one of THE GREAT Comedy teams
The howards and fine family would be laughing always enjoy a classic 3 stooge espiodes keep up the good work. Joe
All my years of watching the three great ones NEVER saw this cut unless it was spliced into another film production.

Curly was an excellent ball room dancer.

Yeah, but it doesn't have the three of them in it nearly enough.

Woman: I remember you! I never forget a face!
Moe: Well, sister, ya better go home because you sure forgot one today!!

Woo, woo, woo!
Seeing Moe smile is kind of scary. I'm just so used to seeing him irritable.
Coral Roper he kinda has a permanent scowl. The smiles are very forced.
@@gfriedman99 It's a wonder his face wasn't frozen like that.
When he would make talk show appearances he was always smiling. He was really a nice man.

I don't get it? They already had their act.

@@bocconom yes, they got peanuts from the shorts.
On the other hand, the shorts won them fame imperishable.
Which is something.

None. All 190 shorts are out there.
This is a clip from a feature movie.
