I just got my pull up and dip bars delivered and am ready to rumble, (Last holy trinity workout I counted 45 dips and pull ups and 75 push ups in 30 Minutes). Goal is more every workout! Thank you! 5:45 what do you recommend for when people reach muscle failure well before the 30 mins is reached on the Holy Trinity? Just hold your body in the starting position for as long as possible like we did in the Army? For context, Im trying to get my body conditioned and dont want to sell myself short, early...

    Any recommendations for someone who is heavy and cant really do more than a couple of pull-ups? Bodyweight rows perhaps? I also have shoulder pain during dips, should i do bench dips instead? They dont hurt too much

    • @dustinharvey3854
      @dustinharvey3854 2 місяці тому +1

      Bodyweight rows would be fine. Once you get a little more strength consider using a step stool or elevated platform to get yourself to the top portion of a pull up, then lower yourself down. You can also use bands for assistance. That helped me out to improve. Be careful doing bench dips, it can put your shoulders at an awkward angle. I used to do them until I tried using two chairs… kinda like bench dips but more shoulder friendly; should be less painful on your shoulders as some weight is distributed to your feet resting on the ground. Good luck!

    In your 40’s LOL. I’m 67 obviously I don’t lift as heavy as I did in my younger years. However I’m working out with gymnastics rings three days a week, lighter weights on the other days. If you want to get really ripped, try the rings.😊

    I'm in my 40's too and learned to workout from being troubled youth, I still stay riot ready these days and hit penitentiary routines 6 days a week but I'm starting to get some serious elbow pain from all the damn pull-ups.
