I love this. I also walk 10000 steps a day and workout. Because of the demand at work i sometimes have to sacrifice one or the other and not always get both in

There are a lot of us over 70, I’m 77, who want to drop BMI into low 20s and increase strength and muscle tone. Many of us have medical conditions but remain active. I had a heart attack in Nov2016, stint put in, and slowly(mostly mental) got back into moderate cardio and strength exercise. Not using the word Training. People like me want to go harder but are concerned how hard. What’s your advice? What material should we read and apply.

Hey Bob, loving what you’re doing. Considering ordering your book and getting going on this. What are your thoughts on don’t want to say vegan but a plant strong diet to do this versus the whole 90% meat thing.

understood. 1 hour a day for 5 days. Bobby, what does a 1 hour hard training look like? weights plus cardio? can rucking be part of that hard workout but instead of an hour i walk 4 miles with weights on my back. It will probably take more than an hour but would this qualify as a hard workout? as of tomorrow i will implement 1 hour a day no matter what, God willing. thanks

and if ye do 130 hr rule for 5 yrs. Taking time and and getting back on; will be as easy as 1, 2, 3 . Got CV and took 2 weeks off; getting back on was rough for 2 weeks BUT mind-body came right back in. That said , I still do not think I'm fit to a point that I can do "10 fitness challenge" set by you BM. But then again, from our SF boys I have tried to take the mindset of "body is capable of going 4-5x harder" than where it says to stop. Do not think I have gone past 2x that. GREAT ADVICE , FOR NEW GEN THOUGH hope they take it.

To the person in the comments claiming b.s about what bobby maximus said! Yes LeBron James and Michael Phelps are ultra talented! But one main reason they are ultra talented is because they put in the work! They out worked their competition! Day in day out! Which creates a mind set of a winner!

There no secret to working out for the results n individual wants. You need to be realistic to your goals. No matter what program you purchase on line or gym membership, if you don’t use it, you won’t gain from it.

I think if your overweight High Intensity training gets a bad rap. My best results were when I did 1 hr of the Insanity program for 60 days. I wanted to puke the first 2 weeks of that workout. Now going to gym high intensity lifting and walking. Results are average at best

This is bad advice. No amount of exercise can outrun a horrible idea unless you are an athlete of course.

Michael Phelps and Labron James got to where they are because they all ultra talented. I can put in a million hours in the gym but I’m not going to the nba because I don’t have the talent. Talent separates these athletes. I believe in hard work but they are not a good analogy. I claim bs
