This wasn’t an interview. This was an experiment. The whole point of this experiment was to see if an increase of stress could trigger the effects of The Sloth in its victims. The reason they did this was because this was the first time they’d gotten somebody right as they were seeing the sloth.
It isn’t oversight at all. They wanted to see results. They got them.

Hes still seems in good spirits, but thats probably just due to SCP999s long term effects. Probably why they are putting him in more stressful/dangerous situations in the first place

There is nothing wrong with a little old school. Good old reliable tech helps out in many ways. 2020 and I still use CD rather then eat the battery life on my phone. Besides that money is probably used on amnestics and cleaning supplies knowing the foundations track record with excessive use of human test subjects.

Isn't the Slow burn Sloth alot more dangerous than there leading onto because he literally has to only be seen in a glimpse for him to affect anyone. On top of that he is aware of what he's doing and even the foundations efforts. The people that see him say that he knows what they know and refuses to let them say more than what it wants them to say when he isnt in control. Like he dose it on purpose...
And the reason they actually stopped effected people from socializing was because they kept making and trading nothing but sloth drawings and paintings. Creepy as f***.
At least it isn't the Shy Man... though, that may depend on your perspective.
Interesting that both take no more than a glimpse, not even having to realize it consciously (at least in the case of the Shy Man).

Not that I don’t blame the foundation staff for “getting used to it”, seeing how alot of SCPs carry nightmare fuel energy, not that I’m saying they don’t feel anything, or can’t care about other people.

I think the fact they put her in the most stressful decision making triggered the effect of 2774 and bam, there she went.

Lawrence needs a raise, I am happy to see that budding romance between him and the doctor. She’s sweet, and actually tries to be empathetic the best to the of what she’s allowed to for affected persons of SCP’s.

Colorblind Correctting glasses don't work on people with full colorblindness (as in Dichromacy), which includes Deuteranopia, they only help those with a form of Anomalous Trichromacy, which would be Deuteranomaly, differentiate between similar looking colors. Basically, they don't let you see colors you couldn't already see, so they do nothing for people with Deuteranopia and people with Deuteranomaly can see green anyway so they weren't safe anyway.

Colorblind Correcting glasses only work for people who can see all three colors, but have a faulty perception of one. In order to be immune to the Sloth you need to be incapable of seeing either red or green, meaning you only see two colors (Dichromacy).
The people the glasses work on would not be immune to the Sloth to begin with.

Once I had a nightmare where it felt like something like this was going to possess me and hearing the word “slow-burn”
or “sloth” literally made me cower away in fear.
Doctor: There is a chance that you will become a slave to a man in a sloth costume.
Karen: I want to talk with your manager.
Doctor: ok, let's him have the change of becoming the sloth slave, if she don't, give him the injection anyway
So the sloth takes over the body and turns it into a mindless slave kinda like an ant, makes sense but were still screwed if its photo circulated.
One thing the video left out is that the chance of infection is directly proportional to the numbers of infected, that is why the lethal injection is used, this plus the immunity of people with certain kinds of daltonism means there are plenty of ways for the foundation to prevent an end of the world scenario with this thing.

the ending is a bit weird and illogical, they could just get her in quarentine and ask her if she would like to get terminated if she ever gets under the effects of 2774, and after the period of time if she isn't infected give her amnesics and release her, and if she's infected follow her will and/or just terminate her anyway according to their needs.
I think the point of the question was to determine if the subject was affected, since one of the symptoms was having difficulty making decisions.
@@gibs1919 I was wondering about that. The entire ordeal seemed like it was too important to leave to her. Like this was a decision they would make after the fact. Also how they seemed to be passively goading, or guiding her to get a reaction. I suspected that maybe that was the case. Do you know if administering amnestics after the fact would affect the sloths control?
May be they want permission from person who is still adequate?

I love how the same recurring characters are just sort of in every scenario, like the Foundation is somehow incredibly understaffed. It's perfectly fine with me I just find it comical in a way.

I agree with you entirely. Only way this would make sense is if they asked her if she wanted the injection _if_ affected.

You have to take the choice until it’s too late, if you are effected you’re too dangerous to go near anyone which is why it’s such a hard choice and why they do it in the first place
They were tryna ask her but they needed to inform her before she makes a decision... but by then it was too late..
