With the hearts, it's kind of a pick-your-poison sort of thing: you either choose difficult mental challenges (regular levels) or ridiculous platforming (b-sides). Both the first two hearts for the first two levels are fairly easy once you figure them out. It's just figuring them out that is difficult.
giving up on the puzzles for blue hearts in the a-sides is honestly very valid and understandable . i never wouldve gotten them without a friend who already completed the game practically holding my hand . but starting b-sides with chapter 4 instead of looking for the earlier tapes first was a *bold* choice . mad respect for sticking to it and completing the level tho .
Watched your video, then youtube suggested me a video with the title "How I beat Celeste blindfolded". I choose to stick with yours cuz I can relate more😢
Don't feel bad about looking up how to get the blue A-side hearts. There are some very tricky and unintuitive solutions. Very cryptic stuff. Give it your best try of course, but I honestly think unless you're a puzzle fanatic, you're better off not stressing about things you might never have thought of in a million years. And yeah, it's gonna keep getting harder, but you can do this!
@@vladi3862 That is just not true. Chapter 2 requires tech nobody in their right mind would consider on their own, the amount of people who say the Mario Bros. 3 reference is unfair is crazy (you'll either get it right away or never, and the added crouching hint I've never seen anyone notice), even giving direct guidance I've seen people struggle with Mirror Temple, and Summit requires you to find 6 hidden items throughout the whole chapter. City is the only puzzle that's even reasonable, and 6 is based off you having found and solved that and considered to write it down in case you need to reference it later then actually figuring out how to apply that knowledge there. They are almost all nuts. I guess Resort isn't too crazy, but still relies on the player noticing that one spot and wondering if they could get up there.
@@ProbablyNotProbable skill issue i guess? i got them all on my own except for 1 and 6, and i even figured out half of what to do for 6 on my own, i had to look up what the mirror symbol meant
The A-side hearts are just in the level but they are very hidden. Id recommend going for them as they have basically no platforming. In 1a you have to look at the satellite colours and dash in the direction the bird of that colour is going. With 2a you have to dash diagonally up where the first and second room meet and just keep going up from there. The on in 4a is pretty easy so those are all I recommend, good luck and keep making great content :)
In the normal levels, or A-sides, you can find blue hearts hidden in the levels, and in the B-sides you can find the pink ones just by finishing the levels, it would be cool to see you eventually get to the very end, I think it's a challenging game but is also very rewarding and sooo fun when you get better at it
To quote a famous review of Celeste by grantbishop1441, "Celeste is supposed to be a game about anxiety, depression, and overcoming your fears. Instead, it gave me depression, anxiety, and I fear it."
You can go for the heart in the chapter 1 following the colors and the movements of the birds, and for the heart in chapter 2 go at the begining of the chapter, it's gonna be unlocked
All of the A-sided have hearts, but they are really hard to figure out, so you might want to look those ones up. I would still love to watch you do the B-sides though.
For the chapter 1 heart you have to follow how the birds move as well on the screen exemple the screen is red and the red bird is going up left you move up left :)
the easiest heart in Celeste is in Chapter 2, just dash up and with the screen transition refill your dash and go up and up (sorry if my english is bad, is not my base language lol)
Yoy can find a heart in any A-side level (is hidden), but in B-side you have to finish the while level. It's easy to find the A-side hearts than completing any B-side
every A side has a blue heart and casette (which unlocks B-side) , and every B side has red heart at the end of the level. the blue hearts are kinda hard to find, if you dont want that chapter 1B and 2B should be easy for you
loool, you picked not a great b side to start with i would STRONGLY suggest trying chapter 1 and 2 b sides before trying any more or just try and figure out some blue heart puzzles, theres one in every chapter :)
If I’m correct, once you beat the game you unlock cheats (no death, badaline skin, etc) I used that to get all the hearts and strawberries. Unless your seeking the challenge, I’d turn on cheats 👍
There is no point making videos if you're going to play with cheats. If that's how a person wants to play their game that's fine, but it's not something anyone will want to watch. Also, cheat mode specifically is activated with a code. Variants can be unlocked but only after beating 8C.

Starting with the 4th B-side is incredibly brave.
Crazy how she chose one of the hardest B-side to begin with and still managed to complete it.
oh
and then she learned that there's a 9th chapter

Chapter 4's heart is pretty simple too if you've played Mario before
Mario 3 specifically
And happened to find that easter egg when you played mario 3, or maybe you just saw it in a curiosities video

nah that was BRUTAL i hated that
It's face cam moment. But since there isn't one I'll just imangine the sun where Dewbi's face is.

You should see it, and also the creator of the vid is very underrated!
2:22 the painful part is this is where you get the first crystal heart.

the only tricky hearts are in chapter 1 and 6 tbh

You deserve so much more recognition ❤ your vids are awesome !
"B-Sides are rage inducing" is gonna age so well if Dewbi goes on to attempt Farewell one day :D
Too existed to see you in farewell chapter-

Still waiting for hollow knight pantheon 5
I’ll say you are braver than me. I decided to not collect the hearts cz I couldn’t figure it out… but you are encouraging to do it too now!

Guys.. Should we tell her about uh.. Well, she will find out :)
good luck with farewell
Fun fact, you were almost 1 step away from heart in chapter1
Dont feel bad to watch a blue hearts guide in internet, they kinda tricky
My ears have been traumatized, I also have a feeling their gonna get more traumatized later
