Thanks girl!! The sunroof really came in handy for my mount for the inside shots lol. He loves his seat and has gotten good at buckling himself in. Pickup and drop off at school is way easier now.

I believe the extra strap in the bag is for the backless conversion. That is then used to hold the seat belt correctly over the shoulder.

Great video Mrs. Crystal. I love it. Didn’t know Graco products were that good. Assembly seemed kind of tricky but you did it with the help of someone else in the family. If only I could have been there to see this great moment in person. Makes me wanna buy & have a Graco product like this in my all wheel drive 2020 Ford Edge for my next girlfriends young son or daughter but just a little fyi, Chicco brand ones are just as great and very safe too. Me and one of my former girlfriends did something very similar to this for her young son named Caleb as well back when her and I were still dating. Caleb had what was called a Chicco kidfit 2 in 1 belt positioning booster car seat in black & grey colors but it was getting old and was coming apart especially on the back head rest so my former girlfriend went online and bought just for her son Caleb a brand new one from Walmart in the red and black colors plus she got online and purchased the Chicco snack holder too a while later to add to it. I went with her and we picked it up together at the local Walmart, then I helped her assemble or put his new car seat together at her place while he was either at school or at his other folks house and then later that same day we put it in one of our identical Ford Edges then went and surprised her son with it like you did here for your wonderful son Benjamin around the end of the video and indeed he was surprised and loved it so much and still continues to use it all the time until the day it’s retired plus the colorful back part that features the Duo Zone safety feature in case of an accident will be kept on it as well for safety purposes. We both always used her sons Chicco 2 in 1 belt positioning booster car seat in our identical all wheel drive 2020 Ford Edges as it so real easy to transfer from one car to another plus we loved the child latches on it as it’s super easy to install in the backseat of our Ford edges. Her son Caleb also called the backseats of both of our Ford Edges his “kingdom” which i thought was a great term. It’s always so nice when our kids become older & big enough then outgrow their old car seats that also use chest clips and they can start using the better ones without the chest clips which they enjoy way more than anything else especially in mommy’s car. Plus all they need to use is the vehicles seat belt. Hope I told you a wonderful story here Mrs. crystal. I sooo wish you were able to do this without a man/needing help. It would have been more empowering! The way I was able to attach the backrest to the base was installing each hook one by one. I had to have it on its side and then pull the second one and then third one upwards to hook each piece on. It was tricky and need to put some strength to pull the second and third plastic hooks in place.
Also, there are anchor connectors at the bottom of the base where those hooks were on the edges. This connectors connect to your anchors in your car underneath the car seat protector which may need to be removed depending on where the anchors are located in your car.

This seat is great. It also looks cute with the pink ! I think they are all pretty safe these days, but this one is easy to use and fits in both my truck and sedan.

So funny 😅 I pretty much did the exact same steps, I connected the 2 back pieces first and got to connecting the bottom 😂😂😂 that’s when I tried and failed and had to open the instructions. It took 1 second after seeing their drawing. I searched for a video on UA-cam because I found it odd that instructions show how to install arms and covers but mine came preinstalled 🤷🏼♀️ thought they sent me a return 😅
Hey, Crystal! Found your video because I couldn't get the back on the booster. Laughed as you wrestled with it but wasn't very happy when your snippy husband fixed it without explaining how he did it.
Yeah it was pretty difficult for me to get the back on. I'm glad I could bring some laughter to your day! I don't think my husband was being snippy. I asked for his help and he helped me even though he was busy with other stuff and wasn't prepared to be on camera. He just had the magic touch I guess. I hope you got it all figured out!!

Very helpful thanks ..I just bought one and my car is jeep grand cherokee... how did you attach the booster hooks to the seat .. I could not find anything to attach it to.. I have a place in the middle behind the seat not under.. is this another accessory I need to buy? Thanks
I'm not familiar with the Jeep Grand Cherokee. My car is a Chevy Equinox. You should check your cars user manual to figure out how to attach.
At the 3:20 mark, the extra strap that comes in the package. Can some tell me what is it for?.

Matt to the rescue I’m literally trying to figure out how to put the back on this exact booster seat right now, over here struggling and looking for UA-cam videos on how to do it. I probably just need to ask my husband to help also.

You hold the 2 pieces at a 90° angle with the back facing upside down. Then turn it right side up to click
