Fantastic video tutorial! Adjusting inventory using excel for products seems easy but when it's product variant, external ID is a unique field to map to adjust the inventory or opening balance. Thanks Pinky Shah for detailed inventory adjustment import tutorial.
Thank you so much! Yes,You are right! For the product variants External id is required when product variant doesn't have unique Internal reference code.
This is like an answer from the heavens!! THANK YOOOUUU SO MUCH!! You have no idea how much time and life you saved me by uploading this. May you have a long and healthy existence.
I imported a file (exactly like you) with products (display name), counted quantity and a location and the import adds values to the fields available_quantity and quantity for some reason, once I apply all the values to products they don't change (it doesn't update On Hand products at all), is there a fix for this?
