🚨🚨🚨 IMPORTANT! 🚨🚨🚨 As you probably know, we are NOT travelling at the moment. This video was filmed many months before the pandemic and we are now back home in England. We absolutely loved Romblon and the 24 hours we spent exploring the sights was a real highlight of our time in the Philippines... ...but now is not the time for travel. We all need to be doing our part to stop the spread of this horrible virus. This video is only meant to provide some light entertainment and inspiration for future travel. This whole situation will eventually end and that’s when the people and businesses of places like Romblon will need tourism more than ever. The Philippines series will continue next week on one of the most popular destinations in the country… Make sure you subscribe to find out where we went! Look after each other and stay safe, Ryan
So true, Romblon will need tourism more than ever. It will be a great reset. Stay in touch. Next time you're in Romblon, let us know. You're welcome in our home.
I dont know why this channel is underrated. I mean, the content of their video is always good and the way he delivers the video is thoughtful and very nice. They dont praise everything too much and dont always put clickbaits on their videos as other vloggers do. Keep the good works, ryan and emma!
The beauty of your adventure lies in your spatial narrative. The island and the beaches come alive with your oral sketches. You started your essay from a point, moved on to exploring another spot, returned to where you started, which signaled the end of your day. Fabulous!
You're vlog is so addictive, I have to stop what I'm doing...And there he is again my favorite National Geographic guy. Greetings from mainland USA 👍😁👌
This channel deserves to be known worldwide! One of my top international travel vloggers. Just continue your passion, I believe you will be popular soon. Good luck & God bless!
The Philippines is high on our list to visit, unfortunately COVID made us postpone it for now. I have never heard Romblon Romblon, that was an interesting name and area to consider exploring! 3.5 hr journey on a tuk tuk and ferry sound like a fun journey! The view of the fort is incredible, and sunset looks magical! I'd love to explore of these beautiful beaches, and I would definitely pay the USD1 entrance fee :) Thanks for sharing!
I'd love to explore the Philippines one day and now Romblon is firmly on my to-visit list thanks to that beach. I don't miss those little ferries in Asia though. Fort San Andres looks worth the climb. My partner would LOVE those e-bikes and it's great to hear they're good for the environment.
Captivating Romblon, another well managed island. It is even closer to Manila than Siargao or Bohol. Bet that Romblon would be one of the top 5 islands to explore soon, credit goes to you. The best storyteller, well structured content, colors are lit and framing is awesome.
Thank you for showcasing Romblon. It is my home province and I live in Sibuyan Island, one of the three main island of Romblon province. Sibuyan Island is another beauty which is not that exposed to tourist but also has a lot to offer. I hope that someday you'll be able to explore Sibuyan island.
10:17 I hope you did not miss to notice the kapok tree that is nearly bare of leaves with only the fruits hanging on its branches. They produce silky cotton-like materials that we stuff on our pillows.
Hi Ryan, Thank you so much for posting this video, a welcome ‘tonic’ during these worrying times. I have to say your cinematography is outstanding and just a pleasure to watch. I hope you and Emma are both well and staying safe. Anthony. 🙏🏻.
It is heartwarning that you were able to find the destination that fitted your expectations. I think the viewers were able to experience as well the beauty of the places u visited through ur narrative that I find pleasing to the ear!!!
Thank you for visiting our country the philippines. This is another way to promote our country. We are very thankful for every tourist such as you guys for exploring our island. God bless.
You’re storytelling is superb. I found your channel on my feed yesterday and I’ve watched almost half of your videos. I’d like to visit Romblon now after watching this.
This video contains so many informative information. I can't skip any second as this place is, as you said, really beautiful and fascinating. The water there is so clean!
so beautiful. I live in the Philippines, I haven't even been to Romblon. I will put it on my Must Visit Places list now. Thank you so much for featuring this place.
just recently watching your videos.. i love it so much your narration is so pretty and those shots are so beautiful. I'm a filipino and i did not expect that my own country will be beautiful such as. thank you. you gain a new subscriber!!
The land of my birth, Romblon, Romblon. I've lived in Los Angeles the last 50 years but I cry every time I see this place in the internet. I'm glad I stumbled on your blog. I've been back there 3 times since leaving but memories can never be erased. Loved your adventures especially this one!
I love your videos. Very nice and clear , you also definitely describe it well. You did your homework 😀. Definitely I recommend your blog to my family and friends
Awesome Island Indeed!! In my bucket list & a coworker here in California hails from there been endorsing her province to us!! Just hope it stays unspoiled just like that forever!!
Nice! Thanks a LOT for promoting unspoiled Romblon to the world. By the way, do you have videoo on the different marble products of Romblon? It would be an interesting vlog. I hope you can upload one.
One Shot Adventures hahaha this is very true but I’d love to substitute the sun for an adventure around an island even if it was tropical rain. The vids are like my escape to a time we once could be free haha
Your vlog is so entertaining, relaxing and informative. Your voice is so good like im watching a BBC documentary. New subscriber here ❤ im loving this channel!
another brilliant video! Everything on point storytelling, music, and narrative. It is amazing to see the local govt is finally invested in e-scooter and charging stations. What mic are you using out of curiosity?
fyi brothers, there are lots of migrated foreigners in the island, also you can go island hopping in the 3 islands (Logbon, Alad and Cobrador) there you can find cliff diving and super white sand and of course, the beach will all be yours.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR LOVING MY HOMERTOWN... I smiled thw whole time in wathching your VIdeo... Bon bon beach and Tiamban Beach is both Owned by our family.. Thank you and good luck to your journey ..... let's have a Beer shot when you come back again in my Hometown just a small steps ..🙏
Sounds like Saint Augustine, which is my favorite city in Florida! You had me at "ruined fort" LOL 😂 And to have it all to yourselves...nice! How do get your shot so freaking smooth at 4:53??! OMG, we both about fell out of our recliners laughing about the stone skimming championship!! 😃 Yay for all the puppies...do y'all have a pet at home? Why didn't you jump with the locals, Ryan?? April has taken a handful of shadow shots from when we have been riding on my motorcycle 👍
That shot was on my gimbal, then stabilised it a little when I was editing. No we don't have any pets, which is why we make friends with all the beach dogs. Haha I chickened out of the jump - It was fun to watch the local experts though!
Oh, I didn't know you had a gimbal...what kind? (Sorry if we've talked about this before 😬) Gotcha--did the beach dogs seem fairly clean and disease free? That seemed like a really high jump--do you know how high? I would've likely given it a try...although I don't know anymore with my back issues flared up 😣
Yeah I have one, but I've started using it less and less. It's a Zhiyun Crane v2. The dogs all seemed ok! Most of them are looked after pretty well by the locals tbh.
it's early to say that Romblon is your favorite island, you should try Batanes next time it will change your perspective in life forever!😄but yet again it's a wonderfully done video, I've learned a lot about Romblon I didn't know that it also has a lot of hidden beaches and that e-bike is something new for me. thank u Ryan and Emma!😀
I love the line, the island so good they named it twice! Catchy and witty. There are few tourists there; it’s not a usual tourist destination so you can have the beaches all to yourself. You should have visited Sibuyan, it’s really lovely there. You should be careful not to play with dogs in the Philippines because a lot of them do not have rabies vaccination.
Romblon is famous for marbles which furnitures, floors and counter tops are made of. And yeah they also have nice beach. But the island is under developed compare to other more popular tourist destinations. Its really for the more adventurous
