I'm back again with a comment. Yesterday which was also my birthday I received the best presents by changing both camshaft sensors on my 2008 Nissan Maxima it took me about an hour I had a hard time removing the old sensors from the connectors for whatever reason they did nothing want to come out so easily. They were really saturated in what looks like motor oil for whatever reason but nonetheless I completed the job and I noticed a big difference in the way my car runs and it does not stall anymore. You will never understand how this video changed my life I know little to nothing about cars the biggest thing I ever did was change windshield wiper blades. A few months ago I let my mechanic install a new throttle body on my car, wish I knew then what I know now. Now I'm going to attempt to put on new brakes... Once again thanks so much

Good day sir. I watched another video on how to replace the camshaft the guy was extremely brief in the video so I did not feel confident with trying to do the procedure myself. I'm already handicapped and I only have one eye, I have filed for disability and my income is $0. I was able to come up with the money to purchase a cam shaft B1 which is what I needed unfortunately it is the harder one to reach. The other video that guy said to disconnect the battery. I am so confused, someone is telling a fairy tale about disconnecting the battery. I don't know either of you guys, but for some reason I believe what you say. Thanks for the tip because my mechanic said he wanted to charge me 600 bucks to do this less than 30 minutes procedure. And another guy said he would do it for 70 bucks, I feel confident in doing it for myself for free. I am grateful for guys like you, kind enough to share your knowledge with the less fortunate. I have a 2008 Nissan Maxima and because of my health my car is a necessity. Once again thanks for everything I'll be sure to like and subscribe

Perfect, although I am mechanically inclined, it's always good to check for other experience on a particular model. You can learn a thing or two this case it's a maxima which I have aswell. 07 Maxima I replaced bank 1 but didn't think there was another cam sensor just CRANK sensor under the car. No wonder my car stalled after replacing the intake manifold the spark plugs and the coils. I will be checking this same problem that occurred to me aswell early in the morning. Thanks brother

You change both sensors regardless if one is giving issue

I bought a 08 Maxima and it start bucking as I drove, turned off and the check engine light came on, I checked it and po340 came up, so I changed that sensor and 30 minutes later it done the same thing, I previous owner has already changed it before because they broke the clip on the sensor, so I simply changed both sensors the po340 and the po345 sensor, every since it's been purring like a kitten, so change both sensors and see how that does

Also check the connector. My bank 1 connecter had gunk in it and wouldn't clip well. Sprayed a bunch of brake cleaner in it and moved the clip back and forth until it moved smoothly. Check the grounds for the camshaft sensor wires as well. Under the plastic cover with the v6 3.5 l on it. They are right on top.

Ok. It's me again. Does it matter what brand sensor I use? I'm gonna attempt to do this myself. It's B1 do I have to do both? If the code only reads B1... I also had the throttle body changed a few months ago.it was a used one. I have this video memorized.any last tips you have for me

      “Slip” light
      “Service engine soon”
Both on still car is stuck in 5th
Hard to start. Exactly like in your video.
But I changed both sensors to be sure the problem would go away and no luck :/

Hello I have a 04 maxima, it giving p0345 and p0011 code. I replace both of them with new aftermarket sensor but it still give me the error code and car is stall limp mode at 2000rpm. Could it be the sensor I got? Any other ideas. Should I replace the crankshaft sensor aswell? Thanks your input will greatly help

I have people say to do a oil filter change and change the crankshaft sensor on the bottom aswell. I reorder the cams sensor again oem to see if that the problem.
