    I loved seeing those wedges she used. After years of setting tile professionally, I wish they'd been invented when I was in the trade!

      @AneudiD78 Рік тому

      Somebody from the trade probably invented it. You know how it is when you worked for so many years, you come up with a clever idea. And in this case, the idea worked.

    I so want those spacers! That would have made tiling my kitchen so much easier than with the leveler! ;)

    I am so glad that they are Back-Buttering the this particular tile.It is VERY important to get thin set coverage on the backs of the tile to help to achieve as close to 100% as possible. I do know of a tool that helps to cut down on body fatigue as well as fully supports the tiles when back-buttering. It's called the Back-Butter Buddy

    • @SomeDumUsrName
      @SomeDumUsrName 2 роки тому

      You obviously missed the fact that they are not bedding the tiles hardly at ALL. They actually have full coverage of thinset on the skim when they backbutter BUT, without bedding the tile down, they only achieve ACTUALLY 60-70% support of the tile.

    How do you remove those spacers that the wedges go through? They look like they go under the tiles. Do you break off the top part and the rest of it stays there?

    Why do I see a piece of tape on a lot of the thin set mixing bits used in the drill? I see this often in home improvement.

      I happen to ran into a plaster on the weekend... it's there to stop the mix going any further up the paddle and continuing into the drill.

      A man can wear them if he's big enough to kick someone's behind for teasing him. Otherwise, I don't recommend it. I saw Mr. T. wear a pink shirt. Similar rule of thumb.
