The chevy cruze is terrible! I just sold my 2014 Chevrolet Cruze Eco with turbo to a junk buyer! Never had more problems with any other car that I've owned! The head gasket blew at 93,000 miles and 3 months after the powertrain warranty expired. Just bought a 2017 Hyundai elantra certified preowned and I like it way better already!

My aunt had a 2003 hyundai santa fe with the V6 & heated seats. I drove it once in a while & loved it!! We got my wife a 2004 santa fe back in 2014 with the 4 cylinder engine. BAD IDEA!!! I don't know if that particular santa fe just wasn't maintained properly or what. But we had nothing but problems with it. Mainly with the engine components. I think hyundai has come a long way since then

The one fail of this video (and correct me if I'm wrong) is that the infinity sound system wasn't addressed. It's AMAZING. And I'm used to my modded jeep that has about 750 watts going through it. Albeit, the jeep sounds a bit better, but I've sunk serious $ and work into making it so. The infinity sound in my '17 unlimited is among the best of stock stereos without a doubt.

I really like my 2018 Elantra SEL after 18k miles of ownership. It seems the most well-rounded of call cars in it's class, while being offered at one of the lowest prices. It's a hard car to beat. I can attest that although the Chevy Cruze has more torque, it feels a lot weaker in everyday driving. I got to drive a friend's 2018 Cruze and I honestly wasn't too impressed. It had a hard ride, annoyingly grabby brakes, a stiff seat and felt like it was powered by a hamster on a wheel. The Elantra feels a lot more upscale and better engineered.

Also, I have a friend who just bought the 2018 Elantra SE on black friday. So far, he loves it!! I've been in it a few times & it's a decent car. I think they should have 4 wheel disc brakes standard on all trim levels tho

27k is a bit too much. In Korea you can get around 18k with much more decent option like ventilated seat and 1.6 liter engine. Yes, it's much slower than 2 liter but, someone who gonna get that won't care about 0-60 or things like that. Anyway, I'm a bit surprised how far Hyundai came. I had a chance to drive that one when I went back to Korea, I'm a bit surprised. Of course, it's not better than civic but, at least I felt it feels much better than corolla.
