Honestly, even if the "hype" surrounding them died during the early 2010s, I feel like New Boyz would most likely get popular again by the mid-10s, like 2012/2014 as they had the potential to last a little longer but then again, it wouldn't stay that way Legacy was always my favorite out of the duo, and it's cool that he had passion outside of being in the music industry even if he does still enjoy 'jerking' here and there. Ben J was really "a Jerk", as he hated the attention Legacy was getting(from the girls, and ). Also, the fact that the reason for the fallout between them involves a girl seems a bit unbelievable, but I could see it being part of the main problem, but not as a real reason. I don't know why but that reminds me of that old movie, "Jason's Lyrics". 1. They were far from a one-hit-wonder with several numbers of the bangers they gave us(You're A Jerk, Tie Me Down, Crush On You ft YG, Better With the Lights Off, Backseat). Plus, it was possible that they could have lasted longer during the early 2010s if the label had reached to make a compromise with them regarding their style of music after their second album. 2. The lawsuit was unnecessary, as how the names could be mixed up when theirs is spelled differently from the church group? Doesn't make sense, and what also doesn't make sense is why Ben J heavily believes Tinashe was "a bad influence" on Legacy when she's probably a great girl, which threatens him.
