looks good, I would eat it. If you want a higher smoke point clarified butter or ghee is higher, you can make a small batch from the kirkland butter, daisy creek on youtube has video about ghee. You might want to rest the steak in aluminum foil next time.
Some feedback on the video, I'm only getting your camera / mic audio on the left channel and the BGM on the right channel, that doesn't seem right As for the thermometer, there are some that are meant to go in the oven with the thing you're cooking but these are typically probe style thermometers where you embed the probe into the center of your food where they will transmit via wire / wirelessly to a display outside (which could be your phone). I'm not sure that the thermometer you bought is supposed to go into the oven, I typically only see those used for measuring food outside of the oven. I'd buy a digital instant-read thermometer from Amazon, there's a million and they're like $15 or $20. The one we have has worked well for years and reads the temperature accurately enough. It's also useful for more than just meat e.g. making desserts with temperature sensitive components.
@@CalvinAytch oops. I must have forgotten to export as a single track. Lol. Ya. I definitely broke the thermometer. Going to research a nicer one for next time. Thanks for all the good feedback!
Thank you! Where's my 1/2 of the steak?
You're welcome!

@@JB_user5684 I'll look into the ghee/clarified butter and use foil on my next attempt! Thanks!
