Great work coach Brain. I'm a Tennis Coach and watching your video has also help me improve my players. Great techniques and footwork. Thanks a bunch Coach Brian.!
Wow; amazing teaching, I’m a badminton player, and I have no idea how to play, just want to try , your training videos are great, thank you very much! 👍😍
Outstanding training method. Look at this little girl’s forehand ... already powerful, beautiful, smooth, effortless... although I’m 3 times older than these youngsters, I’m going to practice this. I like the technique of taking off with the left leg and landing on it.
kid literally holding the very end of his racket. damn miracle it doesn't fling out and smack somebody. not enough top spin on his strokes. ball looking like it'll travel to Mars at that rate.
The first drill is open stand n contact ball. follow by nature stand n contact ball. But both in same area . What's the whole drill trying to bring out.
I dont know... last exercise. Without the ball the drill starts with boys right leg behind the left leg and jump on the left. Then when start practice his starting position is with right leg wide. I undestand that drills are to get their legs more powerful, but why it doesnt match actual movement on court
Can you do a video on how to hit harder on your groundstrokes? My groundstrokes have a very good amount of spin and medium amount of pace but I just can't hit harder like many other better players.
Hello!! For that I’ll need to see your technique first. Usually “problems” are hip/shoulder rotation, backswing technique, contact point. What racket and strings do you use? And how many pounds?
I use a babolat aeropro drive. It is a hybrid of luxilon alu power and vs touch. Poly mains(more durable since i break strings fast) the luxilon is at 61lbs while the vs touch is 58lbs. I will post a video later on wednsdat of me hitting can you give me feedback.
stepping into shots isn't for me as I use a semi-western grip so I hit with an open-stance as open as possible unless I am doing an approach shot which is when I step into my shots with my left foot.
Coach Brian, these are amazing training exercises! I’m interested in bringing my 11-year-old daughter to your camp this summer! I just sent you a private message. - Bruce N.
Hi Brian ! First, I'm french so don't judge me if my english is not so good ;) I discovered your channel recently and I'm very surprised that a former pro player can be so close of his fans or the tennis fans ! I wanted to ask you if I pass down here, in Miami, can I come visit you ? Last thing I was wondering what was your reaction when Federer hit his famous tweener is USO 2010 ? Your face was absolutely epic haha ! Don't stop your videos I like this trainings 😉
First Little boy is landing unnecessarily hard on the simulation - slamming his landing foot into the ground - maybe for sound effect or what - no need for that - careful!
that's what happens when you're young and small you need to take longer swings. When they get stronger their strokes become more compact, it's also why most atp forehands are way more compact than wta forehands
Well, you have to pick the right shot to do it. You need to use both, Federer use it a lot!! Thanks for your comment, but not 100% agree with you buddy
Brian Dabul - agreed . But really watch Fed . He’s making contact with his feet on the ground , then they come off as a natural part of the shot . Balance is everything! Thx for the comment.
I am not a fan of this drill. It seems to be teaching them to lift up on their shots and hit long. When they technically should be making adjustment steps, staying low, and balanced, head down with eye contact on the shot...then follow through...not jumping at the shot. It seems that so much can go wrong with the shot with this technique.
Jermaine Benson this is a particular type of shot. When the ball bounces high and is inside the forehand and towards the baseline this stroke comes in handy.
Actually it's technically correct since many offensive (and defensive) shots require high kinetic energy and angular momentum through the kinetic chain.
Jermaine Benson should work for you too. It’s the placement of the back foot that’s tricky for the first set of footwork, notice their toes. This weight transfer is to throw your weight forward through the ball, catching it at a higher spot in the strike zone. Swing straight. Strikezone is nipples to head. The later footwork is similar to serving. Same strike zone

I use ProStaff RF97 Autograph with full natural gut ( VS Touch) strung at 53 pounds and I'm wondering the same question.

Insanity step into shots with your left foot if you’re right handed (forehand)

hi
Did not wear hair cap when everyone weared soon sense
Their footwork is great, but their groundstrokes are way too large.

I disagree. The feet are better planted , while moving forward. Jumping puts u off balance and less consistent.
