Anybody that knows what they’re doing with food could tell you that this is way off. A lot of those ingredients never saw heat and holy shit the finished product is doused with seasonings
Tyrha McGowan it made me wonder if they actually do it like that we may be eating it fresh raw in the mix with everything else oh yea cause fresh garlic is spicier than cooked this makes sense too
Some people are so rude! Like what is the big deal?? It looks good and I will be trying it out.. I have tried other copycat boiling crab and am always looking forward to a different take on the way it's made! Thank you
Most of the seafood boil on youtube use the exact ingredients as here but the only difference is melting the butter adding the mince garlic and seasonings in the butter before adding it with the food.
as a chef myself. the way you do is the best. it show all color and favor also the boil water with some seasoning. it make all food have basically taste. it won't make you feel the sauce only on the outside.👍👍👍
You all most got it right if you love it I like it just infuse all your ingredients before you add your seafood you diffidently needs to cook the butter and garlic before adding the rest of the spices and a little sugar to balance the taste...
Most places that serve this style of seafood have multiple levels of spiciness. What can I add that will make mine more spicy without offsetting the flavor too much? Would regular finely chopped fresh Thai chilies work?
How much shrimp you use. It never said? And if use snow crab, king crab or Dungeness crab how long are you supposed to cook them each. Same for potatos n corn? Befoee or afer the seafood.
Everyone making a big deal about the butter and garlic going on after the shrimps are cooked. There's a video of an employee putting the shrimp together and guess what, THEY PUT THE GARLIC IN THE BOWL RAW, ADD THE MELTED BUTTER and flip them around in the bowl.
Hello? I am Min, who is in charge of directing a program called "Baek Jong-won's Four Seasons" for South Korean food web content. Our program introduces Korean seasonal food. In particular, in the episode about shrimp, a culinary expert cast used the American Boiling Crab recipe. I think the video you uploaded is very well introduced to the Boiling Crab. I would like to use your video to introduce the original Boiling Crab to South Korean viewers. Can I use some of your videos on our program? I'll be waiting for the reply. I wish you good health and happiness.
I think that your steps may be a little out of sequence. The raw garlic at the end is definitely not the technique used at boiling crab. It looks good but it could be better.
No. They are not adding the seasoning after. They are infusing the flavors by COOKING them first making a sauce then adding the sauce to the seafood. This right here is not making any sense. Why would someone eat the garlic raw?? A fail.
A lot of this is just Overkill the water was already pretty well and in the end you doused it with seasoning two of the seasonings the Old Bay stuff in the Creole seasoning have Cayenne paprika and one of them has lemon pepper in it so why you added it again I'm not sure also for god sakes peel your shrimp and remove the eyes that's so nasty.
Martina Mitchell not all places remove the shell and Devine the shrimp it gives a nice presentation. Some places serve it like that and allow the customer to remove it like in Louisiana
Thanks for sharing I will incorporate some of your ideas looks delicious!!
People that are saying "wheres the crab?" Boiling Crab is a restaurant. The whole sha bang is all their combo seasonings.
Anybody that knows what they’re doing with food could tell you that this is way off. A lot of those ingredients never saw heat and holy shit the finished product is doused with seasonings

Yesssss. I can't wait to cook.
Right on! The best cooks always just eye ballll it... Damn I'mma try this recipe out.
It looks great the only thing different I would have done was cooked the minced garlic in the butter instead of eating raw garlic
Tyrha McGowan it made me wonder if they actually do it like that we may be eating it fresh raw in the mix with everything else oh yea cause fresh garlic is spicier than cooked this makes sense too

Great recipe easy to make . You add the seasoning tp your liking, if you can't handle that you do not need to be in the kitchen.

When you cook up all the spices they infuse beautifully on a dish! #magic #simmeritdown
Thank you enjoy the video
Only thing I would have done differently is infuse the garlic with the butter and then you’ve got a winner

chop a couple habaneros into the sauce mix.

Tammie Nguyen it said 3 pounds 🙂
Most places sell cooked crab. You just drop them in at the end for a few minutes. I buy my crab at Costco and its pre cooked. Hope this helps.
Can you post the measurements and ingredients
If u need measurements you are not a cook.
Plecos that’s fucken stupid lol

Yesss! Quik & simple.. Looks delishhh!😋👌

No. They are not adding the seasoning after. They are infusing the flavors by COOKING them first making a sauce then adding the sauce to the seafood. This right here is not making any sense. Why would someone eat the garlic raw?? A fail.
There's like no sauce in the sauce
That’s a lot of garlic lol
To much!!!! 😳👀 1 tsp is enough jessas
Why your garlic looks grey
Huhhhh? Either you over-cooked that corn 🌽 or undercooked those potatoes .... you really kilt it lol.... Why the Black gloves ?????

Garlic was from a jar... it’s been boiled
Nope

Esa no es la recete de The Boiling Crab! Estas engañando a la gente!
There no crab.

Wtf?!?
Theres no crab... change video title its very misleading .
Envoyous Ent the boiling crab is a freakin restaurant. This is the sauce they make there.
It is not misleading. You are misinformed.
Don’t quit your day job. Do your research next time how shit is made if you’re going to make a how to video.
You should’ve cleaned the shrimp the right way and too the heads and shells off and deveined them
Martina Mitchell no primero ve y come en boiling 🦀 y luego opinas.
There's no need. But you can do that if you want.
Louisiana style is shelled.
Martina Mitchell not all places remove the shell and Devine the shrimp it gives a nice presentation. Some places serve it like that and allow the customer to remove it like in Louisiana
All the shrimp flavor is in the head and shell and you want to take it out? You're the type of person who buys frozen shrimp, squid, etc.
😂😂😂 this aint it chief
