When someone passes due to addiction, people always say "why didn't people try to help, save or stop the addict?"… Sadly there isn't much another can do!..
So sorry folks, The great Ernie Glam has left the building. It always looked like just beneath the surface he had lots to say about many different things and many opinions about things. And on occasion it looked as if he might say something or starts to say something and then just stops and the moment passes. I always wanted for him to finish what he would start because I was sure it would've been more interesting then current topic, but he never did, He yielded to Michael very often, probably to often for his own sanity, as Michael sometimes needed Ernie to rein him in and keep him grounded. I am sure Ernie will find what he's looking for, and for him it's for the best, but he will be missed, good luck and so long, until next time.
It is really sad to see Michael say here that he bases his entire identity and self-worth on what a bunch of nobodies on UA-cam say about him. It's like he was an outsider to himself. Not having a stable sense of oneself is rough. It's not surprising he relied on drugs to try to fill that emptiness. RIP
Ernie’s saintly and dignified patience must’ve been well and truly spent. I could always tell through his micro-expressions that he was done way before he officially quit both Michael and The Peeew. Analogy time: Ernie was always at home, albeit babysitting Michael, but as soon as the proverbial lights started to dim and flicker, it was only a matter of time before their fuse box tripped and all the lights went out. Ernie could probably tell that this particular play was gonna end a certain way, so he sure as hell didn’t want, or need, to stay for the final act. Mr Glam still remained one of Michael’s truest friends right until the very end.
Ernie stated he distanced himself from Michael in 2016, and that distance is palatable here, but it's clear he worked with Alig for years after that. I would be interested to hear his experience for continuing the video projects. Not throwing shade, he seems like a centered guy, but there's a story to tell here.
I think the way Michael had to constantly look at Ernie when talking to him shows how much things have changed since he’s been out of prison. Ernie has had the opportunity to use technology as it progresses so he knows to look forward when filming a UA-cam video while Michael cannot seem to not engage when speaking to him by turning into him and looking at him for every sentence. It’s interesting and obviously super annoying for Ernie 😂

He was definitely going downhill towards the end of The Pee-ew. Hence, the basis or purpose for Ernie's departure. I believe that Ernie, the incredible individual that he is, began to realize that Michael was going to continue to be "The King of the Club Kids." Ernie could only do so much in order to help Michael adapt and live a healthier lifestyle. However, it's obvious that Michael was still stuck in the same phase as he was before being locked up. I just watched the new doc and it just seems so sad and such a dreadful waste. So many questions, like, was michael still deeply haunted by what happened? Was he unable to move on because of all the hate and people refusing to work with him? I understand you must still be in some kind of way about this as you go back such a long way and your lives are eternally bound. Your doing the noble thing by looking after your folks, I did that myself and it is rewarding and knowing you have done the right thing. Michael I have a question, I just did 2 years in prison and I was wondering with how you deal with people who were in your life before you committed your crime, who now judge you and look at you differently or won't associate with you anymore because you are a felon. Like its been really surprising for me that I haven't been able to talk to people who I thought would be in my life still but are now ignoring me due to being incarcerated. My crime wasn't even that bad and I have medical proof that I was blacked out at the time, but I'm not even able to explain the situation to these people. How do you deal? This is Syler BTW. Ernie was upset & frustrated that Michael was using drugs again. You can only do so much to help addicts. At some point you have to step away, especially when it will negatively affect your life. Ernie obviously couldn't bear to be that close to Alig's downward spiral that has led to his death. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped or thinks they don't have a problem.

Michael is obviously messed up here, and Ernie lost so much weight from when he first appeared on this channel. I get it; it's great to party with old friends. But I watched Peeew! from the earliest days, and Ernie was a guy with a career, healthy-looking, who let his friend from prison move in. It wasn't long before they started partying, together; Michael was incoherent more than usual (permanently slurring), and Ernie looked so gaunt and emaciated. I'm glad you got out, Ernie, but don't kid yourself; you enabled your friend. He probably would've gotten there regardless because he was ultimately unable to feel/express real sorrow for what he'd done. I'm not judging that. But you could've maybe, maybe just not resumed doing drugs like old times with your friend who went to prison for drug-induced psychosis. Just a thought. Anyway, Michael was headed there regardless. A perfect blend of sociopath and narcissist and enigmatic guy to be around.
Michael lived with me for 16 months after his release from prison. When it became clear that he was not willing to take responsibility for his future, I stopped helping him and asked him to move out. This video was shot more than 4 years after he moved out of my place and his decline is obvious. I suppose my decision to continue the Peeew could be considered enabling. It seemed important to his self-worth, which is why I kept doing it. I did not intervene in his drug addiction, his homelessness, his arrests. Those were the harsh consequences of his poor decisions.
Nothing funny or uplifting to say about this. It’s just sad. You’re delusional Ernie, you’ve been as regular with Peeew ( seldom making episodes) for at least three years. I liked some people who visited, JJ Brines, John Simone , Connor Eitner etc.. but everybody else complained about them, how they conversed, etc. I’m not optimistic
That’s dumb since the whole reason the channel lost steam was when they got wrapped up in that mess by having Desmond on. It was a huge mistake to involve the Peew in that mess. They got demonetized and that fucked them. Unsustainable. Patreon wasn’t going to save them. Might’ve had a real chance to grow the channel if not for that happening.

It really became unsustainable since they were demonetized and got sucked into shit by having Desmond on. I think they saw potential to have an income growing the channel, but once you get the money shut down by UA-cam and are forced to go to Patreon, where people were not likely to pay, he was forced to pursue other things and finally needs to go make money. But I enjoy watching Ernie and it’s not at all for me watchable without Ernie. 😢

Ernie was upset & frustrated that Michael was using drugs again. You can only do so much to help addicts. At some point you have to step away, especially when it will negatively affect your life. Ernie obviously couldn't bear to be that close to Alig's downward spiral that has led to his death. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped or thinks they don't have a problem.

Michael is obviously messed up here, and Ernie lost so much weight from when he first appeared on this channel. I get it; it's great to party with old friends. But I watched Peeew! from the earliest days, and Ernie was a guy with a career, healthy-looking, who let his friend from prison move in. It wasn't long before they started partying, together; Michael was incoherent more than usual (permanently slurring), and Ernie looked so gaunt and emaciated. I'm glad you got out, Ernie, but don't kid yourself; you enabled your friend. He probably would've gotten there regardless because he was ultimately unable to feel/express real sorrow for what he'd done. I'm not judging that. But you could've maybe, maybe just not resumed doing drugs like old times with your friend who went to prison for drug-induced psychosis. Just a thought. Anyway, Michael was headed there regardless. A perfect blend of sociopath and narcissist and enigmatic guy to be around.
Michael lived with me for 16 months after his release from prison. When it became clear that he was not willing to take responsibility for his future, I stopped helping him and asked him to move out. This video was shot more than 4 years after he moved out of my place and his decline is obvious. I suppose my decision to continue the Peeew could be considered enabling. It seemed important to his self-worth, which is why I kept doing it. I did not intervene in his drug addiction, his homelessness, his arrests. Those were the harsh consequences of his poor decisions.
Nothing funny or uplifting to say about this. It’s just sad. You’re delusional Ernie, you’ve been as regular with Peeew ( seldom making episodes) for at least three years. I liked some people who visited, JJ Brines, John Simone , Connor Eitner etc.. but everybody else complained about them, how they conversed, etc. I’m not optimistic

That’s dumb since the whole reason the channel lost steam was when they got wrapped up in that mess by having Desmond on. It was a huge mistake to involve the Peew in that mess. They got demonetized and that fucked them. Unsustainable. Patreon wasn’t going to save them. Might’ve had a real chance to grow the channel if not for that happening.
