Here stands testament to one of greatest creative geniuses of all time. MA POWAHS COMIN'- MA POWAHS COMIN'- MA POWAHS COMIN'- !
You did a fantastic job on these Andre. The scenes, the transitions, and music, capture the book perfectly. You ought to create more since you're so good at it.
+Jackmonster3231 Thanks! I ended up doing three hours of Nova Express, have done some screenings and am hoping to have a release of the completed version this year. Ok, also in the back of mind is one day attempting something similar with the Word Hoard... call it INTERZONE maybe. It'll probably take me just as long as this one tho!
terminal pictures/Andre Perkowski it was a real treat finding these when I did because I was watching it while reading Nova Express a few months ago. Ive actually been passing your videos around to my film friends to introduce them to Burroughs and have gotten great responses. Your ideas sound awesome, and if it involves your video making and Burroughs I'm definitely interested. Maybe The Wild Boys and Cities of the Red Night (currently reading) video projects too when you have the time.
I guess it is pretty randomly asking but do anybody know of a good website to stream newly released movies online?
@Kannon Keanu I use Flixzone. You can find it by googling =)
@Kannon Keanu I watch on flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
this is amazing! i'd no idea it existed. my favorite text of his... THANK YOU
this is great, love the imagery you put to the reading.
love it
Hauntingly captivating

Fantastic edit amazing footage. Thanks so much
great work
Is there anywhere to buy a DVD copy of Andre's Nova Express? or a place to watch it in entirety?
film of the decade....no contest.
These images, synchronized to the reading of the text, reach a place deep in my psyche to illuminate my own nightmares brought about by Burroughs' work. This is weirdly cool, frightening and funny, like my own Burroughs fantasies. If image is virus, are these images antivirus?
Does anyone know where these readings /recordings come from - WSB sounds fairly young here (maybe 50/55 years old) when compared with the majority of his publically released speaking engagements (done in much later life at 65/70+ yrs old)
- So, around 1966-1974?
+Zetetik - Close. Death Dwarf is off "Call Me Burroughs," 1965
haha _so_ odd you should answer me just as I'm listening to that exact album section!
Thanks man - really great work; definitely carries the spirit of the text beautifully :)
I just wish there was more available from WSB as a younger feller (you know, 40-45ish)... :/ shame...
+Zetetik - There's an unreleased lengthy reading from "Naked Lunch" that's even earlier and that will probably come out soon enough.
Yeah, didn't he record in about 60/61 in Paris? (perhaps downstairs at Shakespeare and co?). Although _that's_ been dredged from oold memory - so quite possibly bollocks on my part :/
- I'd long assumed _that_ was mostly put onto "Call me.." ....I'd love to think that there's more to come (even if I do know NL pretty much cover to cover)
Thanks man... Any similarly interesting projects afoot? (perhaps some mischief Ballard re-imaging?)
Hey copper...come here...I got something to tell ya...
