Amen Brother. My Grandmother took me fishing when i was nine years old. I am almost 76 now. Every word you spoke about fishing is true and exactly what i tell people. You said it all. I plan to fish until i can no longer hold a pole in my hands. If that happens i will figure out how to hold the pole in my teeth

26 year old, father of 3, sober for 2 years. I found fishing last year and it’s been a god send. Has absolutely saved my life and kept me sober. I heard so much wisdom in this 30 minute video not just about fishing but being a better father & person. Thank you sir. Have definitely earned another subscriber.
To one angler to another i enjoyed your show today.
When i go fishing i forget about all of the things that makes me woorie .Eavon if it is only a few hours.I just cast and cast waiting for a tug then game on.A lot of fun.🙏

Hello from Pickens county south carolina This is the best video I have seen all day
Great life lesson. Thank you Mr. Parker.
I didn't grow up around farm ponds, but I learned to fish creeks and streams. A smallmouth in moving water is the thrill of a lifetime. Thanks for emphasizing that fishing is about having a good time and enjoying the life we've been given. Excellent video.
Mr. Parker, that was a great video and I really enjoyed your commentary on Christ and a life outdoors. Thanks for sharing

I love fishing ponds. It's what I grew up fishing the most, as well as creeks, and i still love it just as much today as then.
Love this Hank!
Hey Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine, can you upload the full throwback episode from Season 1 in 1985? It has the opening sequence showing Hank's daily morning routine: the clock saying "5:30", turning on the light and turning off the alarm clock, feet hitting the floor, leaving his house, a shot of the Ranger boat with the fishing rod put in, camera pans from the General tire to the Choo-Choo Customs truck, a shot of the Choo-Choo Customs truck, the back of the boat, a shot of the Choo-Choo Customs truck driving, the back of the boat, an exterior shot of the house, a shot of the double-cassette answering machine, a shot of the boat on the river, the Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine logo appeared, which zooms out. Then, it wipes to Hank riding on a boat, with a red line showing the text reading onscreen: "WINNER Bass Masters Classic (R)", and then, it wipes to Hank fishing, with two red lines showing the text reading onscreen: "B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year", and then, it wipes to a shot of Hank Parker smiling at the camera. Then it wipes back to the Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine logo, whereas it zooms in. During the intro, the announcer said: "This is Hank Parker's Outdoor Magazine...featuring the first sportsman to win both the Bassmasters Classic, and the title B.A.S.S. Angler of the Year; Hank Parker".👍
When I was growing up I always looked up to a certain type of man. We had a few in the neighborhood. You know the one who worked hard, always had some kind of positive advice to encourage you.
You know… guys like Hank Parker.
I know your an amazing outdoorsman, but I know if I grew up in your neighborhood you would be one of the guys I looked up to! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
I’ve loved pond fishing since I was a little boy. Yes, I’ve been run off from a few ponds in my day by land owners who just didn’t understand my love of fishing. I’ve found that a lot of private ponds are over stocked with fish and are under fished by the pond owners. That’s a perfect combination for me to come in and catch a few good ones. What I’ve learned is that it is very important to be respectful of land owners. It’s better to ask permission to fish a pond. Avoid conflicts with landowners at all cost, cause they usually have a gun handy. Enjoyed your video Hank. God bless y’all. - Tennessee Smoky

Another fun Episode Mr. Parker
Some of my best fishing experiences were catching fish in a pond. From the owl that swooped down to steal my catch, to being chased by the farmer who wondered how in the heck did we get in. LOL Thanks Hank for stirring up some fond memories.
I still remember when I got my shirt signed by you at an event 5 years ago
Obviously he doesn't know the rubber band trick for your Crank bait box 😅
i'll have to keep that rule about fishing from the other side of the fence in mind
What a great comment. The pond made me. When I was little a trip to the pond was always magical. If fish were caught great if not I was still out in God's creation seeing nature up close and personal. As an adult I feel the same way. Thank you Hank Parker for this great reminder of what is important in life.
