Definitely my 'goto' channel for golf instruction! Adam could you show results from hitting same club(8 iron?) with different ball positions pls (shot shape, height, spin variations, how about gc2 and shot trace?) 👍
That’s a great bit of instruction Adam. Just want to say I appreciate your UA-cam content and that it’s extremely helpful. Agree with Matt, best instructor on the net.
Another excellent video. I will practice the brushing motion tomorrow, I was and am guilty of throwing the club at the ball, instead of striking it from the inside.
I have seen on a monitor my angle of attack on driver is up, which is good, but I’m looking at video of myself and I’m steep. Any drills for staying in the slot or avoid being steep?
You should talk about rotating your right arm to get the club behind your body. I found if you rotate your elbow into your belly you get the club more across your chest and behind your body.
Honestly, I'd suggest www.scratchgolfacademy.com where each category of the game is formatted in courses, so you can build and go at your own speed. Hope you find it helpful. All the best, Adam
Can I add that not getting your clubs fit for you and your swing can block a lot of power? For example my groove is two degrees upright with a regular/firm flex. This allows my left elbow and wrist to be perfectly flat at impact and release easily. MUCH better strike and accuracy. Standard lie angles put the ball too far away, and the toe tends to dig. Even when it's an otherwise good strike this takes a noticeable amount of yards off the shot.
@some one I'm very tall...I can hit most standard clubs, but the longer the club the harder it is to get good leverage. This seems to be common for tall golfers.
This is me on the tee! Whatever I do, I just can’t get any distance, and I slice all the time. I am 6 foot tall, but I know for a fact that I have short legs compared to my long upper body. So, I must lean over the ball too much and strike down too steep. How can I change this? Thanks.
Sorry you are struggling, but I don't think your build is the problem. It's hard for me to help without seeing your swing. At www.scratchgolfacademy.com I offer online instruction, happy to help, and hope you'll consider it. All the best, Adam
Best instructor on the Internet period. His gain 25 yards power course has helped my driver swing tremendously.
Wow Matt. That's great to hear!

Great video Adam! I’m a 61 year old and relatively new and serious golfer. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow. Thanks for this!

Drills. That is why you do so well in teaching others. So many instructors don't find ways to simulate what it is they are teaching. Great job sir.
Thanks very much Johnny.

Yes, I have a number of videos at this channel about getting in the slot. I hope you’ll find them helpful

Yes, well fit clubs certainly help.

Club fitting is always a factor (lie angle, not flex, in this case), but I agree, it doesn't change a swing.

It's always a give and take when it comes to club specs.

Thanks Adam. Great video. I swing at 106mph. I'm a scratch. I want to get to 115mph. How do I do that. I'm already drawing my drive.
David,
You are doing very well. Average speed on Tour is about 112, so 106 is great!
Best, Adam
My suggestion is that if off scratch, you are doin' just fine.
