watching it for the second time i realized the reason for her being THAT fixated on him was because that's how she was during their previous encounter!!!! Then it's so cryptic to know that he sat there and really acted like he was meeting her for the first time and knew exactly who she was this is an insane movie!!!!!
@@mushroomchocolate3754 and that’s how they had dresses etc there ready for them because they’d all been there before so they knew what size they were 🤯
the timing of this movie coming out around the same time diddy got arrested was either insane timing or they heard he was going down and said ‘quick make a movie about it’ 😭
fun fact zoe kravitz actually had been working on this script for over 6 years! so it isn’t about diddy exactly but she made this movie about some personal experiences she’s had so i’m sure this is how alot of hollywood parties or people act but we can’t see
@@asg43PERSONAL EXPERIENCE 😳WHOA! ok now I need to know more wtf. Also Every celebrity is acting Diddy doesn’t exist, nobody has come out against him or in support of him which is very telling
what happens in the movie is a very common occurrence in show business. people with fame/money are given powers and leeway to do these things. celebs like diddy & epstein have lots of people who work for them & many other equally famous & wealthy colleagues who engage in these same grotesque acts.
Saw it in theaters and was honestly shocked and disturbed (but think that was the point). And how everything connected from the beginning to the end. CRAZY. watching it twice was honestly WOW. Because you know what's going to happen and it makes it even more disturbing and insane.

I saw this movie in theaters and i loved it. I felt it has something in common with other kind of movies like get out or saltburn. I enjoyed watching your reaction 😊
Watching the I'm sorry's was craazy. I think his character is very interesting as he didnt collapse as soon as the women fought back like the other me did. I think the fact of his own forgetfulness is an inability to change grow or overcome his issues which I think it's made clear are a replication of whatever his father did. The trauma drug that works better the more harm you do is Wild like something in a dystopia scifi(reminds me of a game we're everyone takes happy pills to ignore the buildings crumbling the environment collapsing and the fact they got a load of their children killed needlesly during a war) it felt like he was in some way at least rationalising it as this legitimately freeing thing and treating the abuses as scientific experimentation. All that to say their was some interesting depth there to make him stand out from the rest of the men while being the worst of them.
39:12 nothing in this movie is random .. every single detail no matter how minor has meaning … I suggest definitely rewatching it, it’s a whole other experience watching it over again .. nothing that happens in this movie doesn’t get explain in some way … which is absolutely bonkers(like your bio description 😅) cause there usually is some type of question left over that doesn’t get answered … zoë has a great eye for detail and has put a lot of seasoned veteran directors to shame with this debut … the meaning of the ending is what she said previously to Jess in the beginning of the movie “success is the best revenge” so instead of just letting him burn which would’ve been too easy of a punishment for him .. she stole his success and made him her puppet … the only question I have from this which has nothing to do with the actual synopsis of the movie is … how long til the perfum runs out or has she figured out how to make the “forgetting potion 🧪”
I did m when I was younger a handful of times and yes it was great, but the comedown the next day was the most depressing feeling I’ve ever felt in my life. It was so bad it just wasn’t worth it. Which is good because I’d prob have done it way more and messed up my brain permanently lol
Hi your jokers painting is cool. Did you have it special made like that? Plus this movie was bananas sometimes it go say no thank you to private invites. Stop going off with strangers & quick to accept gifts
I don’t get the stain not being there thing. I assume it’s just implying that she took her dress off at some point and switched out the dress and obviously that can have some sinister implications but also it’s easy to just be like “oh ya my dress was stained and I must have changed last night when we were all like blackout” but I guess maybe that’s the point? That it’s so easy to explain away some of the red flags…
I think it was just an early indicator that a lot of time has went by since the marking of the dress and why the girl in the movie started getting more suspicious
Yes the change of dresses means that at some point from the after dinner trip out to laying down her dress was removed but she can’t recall it actually happening and just lets it go cuz they were so fkd up … two the other comment I thought that too but no they were trying to get him to participate but he was freaking out about how wrong it was … so when Channing says “you did nothing” he meant that he did nothing to the girls nor for the girls
Yeah it’s a small detail that raises suspicions, furthers the feeling that something is off or wrong, but isn’t big enough for her to really feel in danger or panic yet like it’s something that can be explained away but kinda lingers in the mind especially added with the other little suspicious things that keep happening
