This is not on Boone. Who do you suggest they hire instead? Cashman has driven this team to the ground year after year. The players like and respect Boone. He is not going anywhere.
Yes, Cashman is a joke of a GM. He built one championship roster in 2009. And got grandfathered into the first three that the yankees won on his tenure. To come up short every single season, with the amount of money the yankees spend is absolutely unacceptable.
Boone is broken. One day he will snap... or maybe he won't...that's why he's the manager. Boone had made some questionable moves recently...and made some good ones too. I honestly believe he's doing yhe best he can with the leash he has on his neck. An organizational shift has to be on the horizon.

Not calling up Dominguez over Verdugo is a organizational failure. Verdugo won’t be on the team next year. Rangers had Evan Carter a rookie 23 games last year start in the playoffs and was a big part of their playoff run.
The bullpen is the problem right now and Dominguez will be here in a week or two so we can get draft picks

I was actually screaming at the TV when he pinch hit Grisham for Soto when Soto was hot all evening. He was totally luck that Grisham hit the grand slam but the decision was still bad. Grisham plays like he doesn't care.

Aaron...here's some advice for you and your ENTIRE TEAM...I have watched you guys make this same mistake ALL SEASON from your veteran players to your not so veteran players...LISTEN CAREFULLY....WHEN YOU'RE TEAM IS NOT SCORING RUNS AND YOU'RE DOWN IN THE GAME AND YOU HAVE BASES LOADED...DON'T SWING AT THE FIRST FREAKING PITCH YOU SEE...IT HASN'T WORKED OUT AT ALL FOR YOU GUYS THIS ENTIRE SEASON AND IT DIDN'T WORK OUT AGAIN TONIGHT..case in point...bases loaded and Jazz swings at the first pitch..inning over..rally killer..momentum killer...YOU LEFT AT LEAST TWO STRIKES ON THE TABLE..YOU TOOK AWAY FROM YOURSELF AT LEAST TWO MORE SWINGS...not to mention the emotional hangover from last nights grandslam..I saw a dead team at the plate tonight..no mojo whatsoever..

Stopped watching the game in the 2nd inning last night. I don’t see how I can continue being a fan of this team. I’m becoming a fan of the white Sox. I mean how could it be much different! I just can’t stand watching the poor decisions be made.

It’s going to come down to the series vs the Orioles for the division. The Orioles have been not playing well either but the Orioles seem like the better team and will probably win the division.

This team desperately needs an air cleaning meeting. They need to discuss why they look so good one game and rotten the next two. They have had a pattern of doing this for a long time. How can we become more consistent and let's hustle and play as a team? Let's adopt championship habits. They can't penalize one for not hustling and let other members of the team get away with it. I don't see the Yankees having a good run in the postseason. If the team wants to compete not only in the regular season but also in the Playoffs, they need to clean up and close cycles. The Yankees' main problem has been pitching, they didn't bring in any relievers and they don't have anyone you can trust to close out games. It doesn't matter if you have important pieces like Soto or Judge, If they are unable to sustain a result it doesn't matter how good your offensive players are.
A bad September & quick out in postseason will mean Cash & Boone are gone.
