- Its Finally Salmon Season!!! I hope everyone has a safe and great season with a bunch of sweet catches! In this video I went jigging for king Salmon and also floated Skein for them as well! I hope everyone enjoys this action packed video!

I fish from the pier in St Joseph Michigan. Great video guys well done. Technique of floating spawn I might be able to use off the pier in the current.

@@obsessedanglingtv5723 I’ll be heading out to wisco in two weeks to try to catch a pier bite, last year was a good time and want to redo it all again! You been seeing or hearing anything picking up on piers yet?
@@IALiferOutdoors I’m not sure about the wisco side I’d imagine it will be good! The Michigan side is about to turn fire in 2 days from the north wind that is coming in so it should be good when you are in wisco

How deep do you fish the skein? Awesome video
It varies anywhere from 2 to 5 foot off the bottom… that’s what works best for me!

Me to. The hole vertical jigging for salmon is new to me. Be up in sue locks for the pinks soon and will be hitting manistee end of September for a week. I understand not giving spots up. I think I'll try Muskegon tomorrow morning just didn't know how far I need to go Saugatuck is closer for me. Good video guys!

I was in anywhere from 45 to 37 foot and mostly 3 to 4 foot off the bottom
What reels you running?
I run 300 size reels mostly Diawa and I got some Abu Garcia revos

Are you fishing close to bottom?
Most of the time the bitting fish are suspended in the hole and those are the ones that bite better but each hole is different… just change your depth till you get bit and stay with that depth!

But I would run most of your bait 3 to 5 feet off the bottom!

I was there Tuesday morning and didn’t hook up until about 9:30 in the morning. Then it was on like I have never seen. More fish on my graph than i could even imagine. I landed 7 fish in 40 minutes. What a blast.
