Terrace gardening is not permanent. Guys wake up and leave some space for ground gardening near your house. Planting trees and plants in roof top is not good for anything. May be you can get some yield from that for some time. But it doesn't help environment in anyway .

If everyone started to left some ground like around 1 cent we can really make green environment possible. Even growing 2 trees in a house can pave way for great change.
