Nah more like Van Gogh, but seriously the paint scheme would of looked better had it been flipped ( pink and orange in the back and blue in the front ) from front to back to make it look like it was speeding just standing still and all the paint was pooling in the back. I built a 72 Dodge pickup with a 440 stroker and put it in the spring Carlisle show (same place where this show was) and I was parked next to a bitch with big wheels and some stupid ass paint job. this truck that I put so much time into to make look perfect was over shadowed by someone who had thier wheels mounted and paint done in a shops booth. he did nothing mechanically to this car let alone the paint or the wheels. it pisses me off how car culture is basically only looks anymore.

When you buy a zo6 what is there "really" to work on. Come on, he's not a super track, drag kind of guy. Mechanically alter that car, and you're begging to fuck it up if you don't "need" to fix something. Ps. I personally prefer older cars that do require you to work on them, aka 67-69 camaros 65-70 mustangs, 69-72 novas, 69-72 chevelles. Those are my kind of cars.

yea I've got a 79 rabbit with a tdi-M swapped into it (mechanical no electronics) , it ran around a 14 flat at 99mph, no intercooler , it was a work in progress.
I did some engine damage (my fault) and it's been sitting a few years.
I'll get back into it , but the mk2 sucks up a lot of my time.
Not cause it's broke ,cause unlike to tinker on it.
At least with the mk2s the parts aren't out of site pricewise like some of the mk1 stuff.

Nice. I saw one last year at a show I went to in the Catskills at hunter mountain(Das Laufwerk) ...not totally mint but all there and driven often as that owner stated.
I wrenched on mine last night, I'm late to the summer driving party this year, that's ok though
