It's absolutely insane to me that when people want to introduce a favorite 'Tuber to One Piece, they'll send that huge box set and not just the first 3 volume omnibus, lol. Talk about applying pressure. Congrats on 9K!
They say not to judge a book by its cover… but if I knew nothing about The Dragonbone Chair and saw that cover, it would be enough to get me to want to read it. And getting a whole box set of One Piece? Awesome!

Man I wish all these Broken Binding editions were the standard editions of all the books I love. I read The Three Body Problem trilogy this past summer, and it was great. A lot of mind bending concepts that might leave you scratching your head, but it's great anyway! A lot of the concepts and the actions some of the characters took I still think about 6 months on. I did indeed :) good job! I look forward to whenever we get the ball rolling…. I want talking story to be a place where people can come and talk about ANY form of storytelling :) and I want to thank you again for trusting me as much as you have with my silly ideas…. I REALLY believe with the crew we have in the making for the read along for OP… this is going to be Robin Hobb levels of impactful for you ❤… If Philip Chase is moved to tears on multiple occasions from this silly series you know it has to be amazing for some reason…. And if it’s not… then at least the box set is pretty… and free 😅 love you my brother 😊
@@ZachTheStorytellingDragon he called it this story of this generation. No way I don’t wanna try it out after that! Not to mention all the love it has gotten from so many others. Setting Sail 2025! Thanks again way too generous on your part buddy.
Godda check out the Berni Wrightson edition. Fire. 🔥
@@davidlyons5118 he totally captures that story in pics no doubt.
A big fan of Matheson's Hell House, I found it scarier than Shirley Jackson's Haunting of Hill House (I know, I said it). Good luck Jacob, we know you can do it.
He can do it. Hill House is pretty atmospheric but for straight up scares? I am not gonna argue your Hell House take.
Jakob embrace the babies.
Yessss!!
Luv big chunky big books!! 🎉🎉haul!! 😊

Hey J&J!
Yeah, Jakob.... you'll need to SOMEDAY be a dad, so I can say:
Hey J&J&J! ;)
Thanks for the video, boys! :) Always good to see you guys!
If it happens… the kid will have to be named Jingleheimer Schmidt lol

Thanks
@Talking_Story now we need a Hobb super cut of all your Hobb takes put together
@ thinking about something like that.
I'd like to submit that I'm pretty magical....but I may be biased.
I know the powers you possess that’s why for years I have called you professor sparkles
@ touché
The anime I think is taking like a six month break, so like people are catching up on the anime or the manga for one piece, I’m already caught up but just wanted to inform you both.
Awesome thanks. I got a loooong way to go
I'm still watching, but definitely skip the Fairyloot book. I forgot to skip this month, so I resold it as definitely not my thing. A lot of Fairyloot has been a big miss this year unfortunately.
@@SlowlyGoes thanks for that. I think I may be giving them another month and then hopping off.
@Talking_Story it's a shame because the sprayed edges and artwork is gorgeous, but the content is a bit too meh for me
@@SlowlyGoes yeah I feel the same. We will see what this month brings.
Hi! I'm going to say that Sorcery and Small Magics is not your vibe. Next year Fairyloot is starting a true fantasy sub with The Devil's by Joe Abercrombie being the 1st! Might want to look into it!
@@readerinthedesert_SaraBeth oh I hadn’t heard that thanks
A gleaming tickle.
@@angelamccollister I like that!
Joined the fairy loot crew huh?
@@sherribugd3799 I’m in now but if it stays kinda Romantansy I will probably cancel.

@@sherribugd3799 I really liked the first 1. Now I am not so sure.

You aren't alone.
Green bone is extremely overrated, those books look sick though😂
@@Road_Too_12 I have heard really amazing things about it. Looking forward to seeing how it hits with me.
Looks like, with 9k subs, you are getting more books per month than Mike's Book Reviews. I hope you have room on your lot for the climate controlled container you are going to need for them all.
Think I was hit hard around my BDay. Don’t think I can compete with Mike on any level
