I've got 3 more months to bear until melons start showing up here in Romania, and I can't wait to put this to the test.
I'll have plenty of chances too. I always tell myself - Imma grab a 6-7kg melon as that's going to last me a few days. Every time, I end up eating all of it in a day.

Thx for all the tips! I only knew of one: the yellow patch tip ... but, i never knew the DARKER the yellow patch = the better!!! Yay!!!!!
Only tip you missed giving was the best way for storing watermelon in the fridge for the longest time to keep it fresh & safe to eat ... maybe you could add an update for everyone?!?
