Maybe I'm overstating this somewhat but the world really needs more of this. The music, the style, the swagger. It's stylish beyond reason and can't think of anything to kick out against racist, homophobic mean spirited fools than this. Just beautiful.
Okay, but can we talk a min about her dress?? . It's so rare that people can pull off a solid new-gold coloured dress, and even rarer that it fits into whatever scene it's in. It's just such a difficult colour and style. But this lady wears it well, it suits the shiny-flashy vintage glamour theme of PMJ, and she doesn't over accessorize but lets the dress be the showpiece it is. Nice!
PMJ does that to me all the time. All of a sudden, the original(s) sound too crowded, too slick, overproduced, and overdone. Scott's ability to 'perfect' hundred of songs is awe inspiring.
Stunning performance - I loved the John Legend version but this is even richer - Kiah really sings from the heart and brings out the meaning in the lyrics. Both her personal presentation and voice are absolutely stunning. Thank you Scott Bradlee for introducing me to these amazing vocal talents and extending my listening repertoire ,

The top couple +dozen comments were so bad that I'd be surprised if any member of this band could be bothered to perform in front of a camera ever again. The past aside, I'll say it again this is the best version of this song imo.

I always thought I didn’t care for this song before I heard PMJ’s cover. Kiah’s voice is just phenomenal, and now I come rewatch this almost weekly, just to be freshly astounded by her talent, and the love and attention she gives to every moment she sings. 💕 🎶
