    Thank you! I have this weed eater but really didn’t know how to use it and I’m hoping to take it outside and give it a try right now. I need you to explain all kinds of stuff. You give very clear directions.

    Good video! I bought this and just assembled it. It was a little difficult to get the safety cover on over the spool. I had to tap it "gently" with a hammer to get the screw holes to line up. The extra handle is nice. It is very lightweight. I have to have my shoulder replaced so I was looking for lightweight. I also purchased the lawn mower platform but have not used that yet!

    Thanks so much! My Dad gave me this weedeater (he's unable to do yard work now) & he didn't have an instruction manual. I received the batteries/charger yesterday. This helped me figure out how to edge & advance the string!

    Thanks for going in to detail and explaining the product thoroughly. The question I have is speed 1 too much for weeds in a rock bed? When I used to use a gas powered trimmer, I would have it on idle only or without the throttle trigger pulled and that was enough to get those weeds in the rocks without kicking them around. The wheel for edging is definitely a big selling point of this model because without the wheel you need to hold it above the ground. Resting on the ground is alot easier on your back. On problem I have though, is it as loud as sounds on camera. I watched other videos and it didn't seem as loud in those.

    Got mine today Black and Decker combo pack, Weed trimer with blower, I thought for my self, shoot this is to small, LOL ( Hoping that it would be a comando series, hurrican power LOL LOL), didn't charge the battery and I was impressed this blower that came with weed eater it good strong blower and I didn't even charge the batter so I already know that when I get all this working for next day, its going to do the job right. This is my first battery power, the one I had are gas power and they are heavy I gave them to my cousins, Its all right they are big as scott stiner so this will be like light as feathers for them, lol. Thank you for making review Steve. :)

    Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to switch from weed eater to edger! Mine doesn't seem to have the auto feed button but it says not to bump it. So this is one small mystery I still have to figure out.

    Thanks for the video. The Lowe’s in my town has a deal for the weed eater and blower for $99. At that price I figured they didn’t perform too well.

    Great video.. How long does the 1.5 ah battery last?

    • @MrSteviej893
      @MrSteviej893  6 років тому +1

      Fully charged, you can get about 30 -45 minutes. If I edge my entire yard, and patio, I can usually finish on a single charge. There has been a couple of times I forgot to charge before going out and I had to swap batteries in order to finish the fence line in my backyard. Thanks for checking the video out.

    I bought this model about 2 years ago. Now when I go to use it, the charger indicates a full charge, but the unit just beeps and doesn't run. Is that because the battery's dead? My corded one died on me today but had been a beast until now. Not sure I'd buy another B&D.

    • @MrSteviej893
      @MrSteviej893  5 років тому

      I have no idea why it's no longer running. You might try to contact B& D and see what they say about it.
