    You’re definitely supposed to use the curling attachment once your roots and ends are mostly dry. But I only know that because I watched the instructional video that Shark put on UA-cam. I hope that helps.

      Thank you for this! The tips page was light with that attachment, and this will help so much!

    Firstly, your hair is GOALS! It’s so long and shiny-and after it’s curled (especially with the first attachment you demonstrated) it gives me major mermaid vibes! 😍 Thank you for putting so much work into this video and thoroughly demonstrating each attachment. I have a boring old Conair blow dryer, but I’ve been feeling the pull to splurge on a nice one. This one looks nice-I’d be curious to see a follow up in the future to see how your liking it!

      Thank you so much for that! And mermaid hair sounds amazing! This is the first hair dryer I've ever owned this expensive. I'm still learning and playing with it, but I do love the curl attachment!

    This hair dryer is AWESOME! I bought it for myself for Christmas! I'm a curly girl, so I got the diffuser specifically. I just LOVE IT!!!!!

    I bought this in Black Friday too! I use the concentrator on pre-style to dry my roots a bit and then go in with the curling attachment. If I feel like the strands aren’t drying enough I just go in and re-do it. I also use a light gel prior to drying just to get some kind of hold but I also live in Florida so 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Thank you for this video. I recently received my bundle and have been practicing with all the attachments. I love that you tested each one so I could see if there was anything I could do differently. I'm still learning but my hair is so flat and actually seems greasy at the roots from the brush attachment and I'm not sure why. It's bumming me out! I'm finding my hair is drying a ton quicker than with my other drier which is so great! The flat no volume and greasiness is strange though. Thanks again for the video! It's very difficult to find many videos of this hair tool at all.

      You are so welcome, and that is strange. I've literally only used these the number of times filmed because I've been traveling ever since, but I'm heading home today and looking forward to testing it more. I couldn't bring it along because it is not travel friendly, but here's to hoping we learn more as we use it!

      Hey there! Try rough drying (no styling attachments) to 70-80% dry before using the attachments. They’re meant to be used on damp hair, not a full dry. See if that helps!

    If you want volume with the straight attachment, you have a few of options. 1. You can flip your head over and dry it upside down. 2. You can diffuse the roots. 3. Dry your hair to the opposite of your part. So when you part your hair you will get the volume.
    When you need your hair to stay wet, just put on a shower cap. You can get like 10 for a dollar. Hair will stay wet.

      @@MagicMonthly one thing. When I said dry your hair upside down I don’t mean the whole time. Just at the like the 80-90% dry point.

    I for one think you learning how to use the dryer with us was good. Why is it not ok to learn as you go? I think those attachments will do a way better job the more you learn to use them with your specific hair type. I'm not mad about your first attempt at a complicated item. The video shows us that you probably ain't gonna rock at using this dryer first time. Your hair is lovely by the way. I just ordered the dryer and came to learn about using the attachments and im glad I found your review. Thanks 😊

    Do you think you should have dried your hair some before using that attachment

    • @MagicMonthly
      @MagicMonthly  2 роки тому +1

      I think you definitely can (someone said the directions say you should), but I've been using it the same way as I did in the video, and it turns out fantastic. So I'm sure it's preference, but I just blast my roots a bit after, and it seems to be working well. But I do let it air dry a bit more before I get started. I usually do my skin care first.

      I just bought this hair dryer (late to the game haha) but I only have the 2 attachments. The brush and direct air attachment. Thinking about purchasing more and enjoyed seeing all of them in this video. :)

    • @MagicMonthly
      @MagicMonthly  Рік тому +1

      @Megan Thornberry I love the direct air one! It's my favorite! But the hyper air curler is my second favorite. It curls my hair like nothing else. I hope you like the whole system. It was pricey! My only real complaint is the weight.

    • @Yomegs_
      @Yomegs_ Рік тому

      I agree with you! I tried the system on my nieces hair and it seems a lot easier to do on someone else because of how bulky the attachments are. Definitely going to purchase the curler attachment because I have hair that is difficult to hold a curl also; so excited to see that it has worked for you and others!

    • @MagicMonthly
      @MagicMonthly  Рік тому

      @Megan Thornberry I hope you like it. I think there is a refund period if you don't (I think). But the attachment is still cheaper than an AirWrap, which would work in a similar way.

    Honestly, how can you do a video without even bothering to read the instructions or know the names of the things you re supposedly demonstrating. What a disappointment.

    • @MagicMonthly
      @MagicMonthly  2 роки тому +5

      The name of each attachment is listed in description. I also read over the tips before I used each one. I was on a bit of time crunch because it was a black Friday purchase, and I wanted to get a review up before the holidays in case someone was interested in their current deal. But as it is brand new to me, I just had to get to filming as soon as I opened the package to have time to test everything :). And what a beautiful kitty in your pic!

      I'd rather see an honest review from a REAL person trying to figure it out than a scripted video from the company themselves or someone who was paid to make the video.🤷🏼‍♀️

      @@rachelmaletto9506 while I don’t appreciate Abby’s delivery because she was definitely abrasive and it’s really easy to criticize someone else when you’re not the one putting yourself out there, the core of her comment is valid. Even being a real person, it’s very helpful for the reviewer to do a thorough, detailed review and to know how you’re supposed to be using the product properly. Also, how is a reviewer supposed to learn how to improve if people don’t let them know what they need from reviews? All of that being said, I’m thankful the OP used every attachment, it’s the first video I’ve seen doing that. Furthermore, I really appreciate how hard she worked on it. I am looking forward to more people reviewing this product.

      She used the product as a new user which we all would be when we first use it duh. The fact that she didn't know everything about installing attachments shows us how user friendly or unfriendly it is to master quickly. I think she did a fine job of showing us a first attempt at using this product. Now I know what to expect and that there's a learning curve to the attachments. So her review did what I was looking for when I searched.
      I'd love to see an update after she has gotten used to everything and a little less negativity towards other people. No need for it really. Go watch Bambi, thumper has a lesson for ya 💜
