    So good. Legendary even. Just straight up being as racist as you can on TV. The good ol days and everyone knew they were just having a bit of fun. It brought us together laughing at each other.

      *@Harry S. Anchan* Thats the best part of being a 70s kid these days. We came from a time when you could speak plainly, even tell a racial or interracial joke among your Black & Mexican friends, a get a good laugh
      Looks like 30 years of NAACP & ACLU has cowarded everyone down. You can't practice Free Speech in its most modest forms now without someone telling you youre "being insensitive to Black people," "you just need anger management," or "Gaaasp... You cant say THAT! !"
      My answer: "Oh really?! Call the Sheriff. Have mearrested for hurting your sentiments!" 😎

    A great series. I remember seeing Howie Mandel and it was a better Super Dave before the spin off. The ending always mentioned that the guests of bizarre stayed at the hotel, in Vaughan I believe. Cannot recall which.

    • @Coolestmovies
      @Coolestmovies  4 роки тому +9

      They were actually put up at the Royal York Hotel in downtown Toronto, despite the shooting taking place up in Markham or Richmond Hill. "When in Toronto, guests of Bizarre stay at the world-famous Royal York, at the heart of the city's lifestyle". The ending also promoted Tilden Rent-A-Car with a picture of a spiffy new Chevy Cavalier.

    Political correctness is killing comedy, says John Cleese: Monty Python star believes fear of offending certain groups could lead to 1984-style Orwellian society where free expression is not allowed. Claims those who can't control emotions want to control others' behaviour. Says loss of humour will lead to dystopian police state, like Orwell novel. .

      right, political correctness......cleese was talking about CERTAIN people, there is a difference there......also when the Hollywood film industry celebrates a katherine bigelow film that glorifies torture of prisoners, one has to wonder if this 'pc hysteria' is just another CON politician trope

    As a white person, I was deeply offended that The Bigots sketches had no WASP guy/gal taking their share of the jokes. On a serious note, I'm guessing that's because the WASP would have had to tell racist jokes when it was their turn, which wouldn't be very funny even by 80's standards.
