Why do they feel the need to scale damage with defensive stats?
So tanks can have something to lane with. If you had no damage from defensive stats, you're great at peeling for your adc in teamfights, but that's all you can do. Can't jungle or take objectives, can't push lanes or take towers, and you lose to anything in a 1v1 without your tower.
But do they need that much? Probably not...
Why do redditors think tanks shouldn't do damage?
@@davidaleksidze3381 It's not that they shouldn't. It's that in lots of cases they can out damage. Take Malphite or in some cases Tahm Kench. Sure they are also counterpicks but that's what toplane is in general.
A tank who outdamages you while barely taking damage because they only bought defensive items is crazy.
Granted they should do SOME damage because otherwise they can't lane but in a lot of cases their numbers are overtuned.
@@davidaleksidze3381 its not that they shouldn't deal damage but they are dealing ALOT more than they should. I can almost oneshot adc with Ornn's combo
@@TheNicofriko1 Malphites dmg is fine because it can become scary only if malph is allowed to stack 5 armor items and armor boots. Meaning that enemy team picked full AD team. So in that case it's deserved. If malphite needs to build at least 1/2 magic resist items he cannot deal any meaningfull dmg anymore.

Also, there is no *proper* to pronounce shit as these are all mystical names
