- Let's see how the Axe FX 3 compares to the Kemper Profiling Amp for the Orange Rockerverb amp. It's fun as heck to compare the Kemper vs Axe FX and I think you'll find that both sound great and can be tweaked to whatever your taste is, but these comparisons give us an "out of the box" look at how each of the Kemper and Axe FX 3 treat amp modeling and profiling.

The Rockerverb is one of my main amps in the FM9 but, here the Kemper sounds better. I wonder if should make the switch to the Kemper..
I think you could tweak anything on the FM 9 and get it to sound how you want. I'm able to make a rock of verb sound that sounds just like the Kemper on the Axe FX. When I do these comparisons, it's using the sounds just at stocked dial ins.
I think the main thing to consider when you're looking between one or the other solution is how you interface with them and the workflow provided because either is going to get you lots of great sounds.
Have you tried the Axefx3 using tone match !?!?
Tone match is not something I have dug into deeply. It's on my ever-growing list of things I have to get familiar with!
Is basically the Axe’s capture methodology, so you can compare this two units like a more apple to apple comparison !!
For me Kemper
With this particular set of profiles, yeah the Kemper is just a sound that I love.
@MusicWithMarky I also use only one profile for everything, namely JVM410H.

On this model / profile, I agree. Of course, I'm just using stock settings on these and could dial either one of them in to sound like the other, but the whole idea with these videos is to do a comparison "out of the box."

Yes I must admit kemper is way better here. Fractal should drop their modeling constant harassment updates and make us I really good Neural Network stuff
