- I demoed a wright stander ZK 72 inch with dual wheels and got it stuck in mud. I wanted to test out this mower because of the deck size and the dual wheel option on steep banks.

That mower looks real nice and cuts nice also. Having a 72 inch deck will be a great help with those larger properties.
Looks pretty awesome! The engine seemed to keep up just fine going up the steep hill.
There is definitely a practical use for this mower!!! Especially for a piece of cut that you are doing there for the city! We are buying one for a larger commercial lot we do and it is perfect for this type of application! We have ONLY ever been Wright mowers! Best product ever.
I'm gonna need a half day demo before I can say get it brian😁😁....looks great ..can you arrange flights..hotel...and demo for us please....🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🍻
I have a Wright 52” and I could not be happier. The brand is more than reliable and by the sounds of it, you need a mower of that size.
That ZK is a beast of a mower. You can't ask for a better mower, dual wheels large deck, speed and it holds a large amount of gas. The ZK is a match for those fields. My company use Wright Standers and they are Awesome.
It’s a great mower for wide open areas... so I say yes... a couple three of them for all of your acreage that your mowing
That scag you got us my all time favorite mower. Such a Badass machine
Look at 72 inch grasshopper mowers, we use one on the family farm to do the lawn, verges and tracks
For the acreage you described, you need this mower, looks very stable, and a sit on 72. The time savings over a 52 will be phenomenal.
This mower is very practical for what you would use it for
That's the right tool for the job that highway cutting you need a 72 with excellent traction, BUY IT ASAP
If you have all those large properties, I would say that this is very practical to get. Bigger mowers to get the job done faster
It looks like a game changer for you. Excellent mower!
Looks like it does really good on those hillsides
man she worked well up those hills could be a good asset there
Badass Mower! You need one
I love these Wright mowers saw 1 on another you tube chanel last year
You should look into getting a ventrac tractor
Good use for size. Buy it
You should demo one of the 12 foot ground master mowers. For a time saver.
Dang that thing looks and seems to mow great. Those big properties should make it worth it and now you won’t hesitate to take on more large properties.
Seems like a beast of a mower, if your gunna be doing a lot more of this type of property, I would invest. The size of the deck and stability of it sold me on this type of property
I would say that would be a great mower for your new larger acreage yards/ fields with hills. It seems to go right up and down them fine.
I still like Walker mowers. I see the H27i or even the H38i with a S74 deck would also be one I would demo.
If the cut quality did not matter as much I might look at a Kobota L6060 Grand with a Rhino 2150 15' FLEX-WING ROTARY CUTTER.
That would give you better production and you could use the tractor in the winter with a Kage Snowplow for you big lots. Rhino are you and Kubota listening?
Buy one with the tracks you would go anywhere
I like larger mowing and most my mower are Exmark, but you had me sold on this new mower especially on them hills. 60 in cut sometimes still takes a while on my larger areas. 1 yard I mow 5 acres every two weeks and well, I would rather have that 72 or at least 2 of them. So yes, I would definitely buy it especially with all them acres you have to mow. I would suggest to get more than 1 for that large acreage. It just comes down to you would need a wider trailer to haul these mowers and just use that trailer for large acreage so you do not waste your time hauling the smaller mowers. Most the guys who own landscape companies around me know I like the larger yards vs them small ones they all like. I want to pick up larger yards and if I do, I would bump up to 2 72s.
I am wanting to try one here where I live. We live around a lake area and everything around it is really steep. We are mowing with zero turn sit downs now. They do the job but safety is a big factor.
You should demo a ventrac 4500z
Max tracks may be needed in the future mate. Great for 4x4s stuck in mud so it would work just as good in that situation too
I have a Z Force S for hills . Love it.
Looks like a beast to me. Not too familiar with those but looks like it would get a big job done fast and on to the next one.
I would offer this, when buying a new mower also remember what you can get on the back end as well. That will really give you a better picture of the overall cost to you as supposed to simply looking at the purchase price. I know I have made this mistake before and realized later that resale is extremely important to remember when it comes to certain high dollar items.
It looks practical cuts wide seems stable and fast
Great for steep hills
You should buy one. Would serve you well. Maybe one day, you should demo a Toro Grandstand
Yes, you said you have got some good acreage this year, if not this one, then you need a big deck mower in your fleet to make this happen.
I missed workn for ya . You were s great dude
You need to try a ztr sometime, they do pretty good on hills because you are on the middle of the mower and not the back
Riley Roberts got my Hustler Fast Track SDX
Get a ventrac look it up it’s amazing
Need to look at ventrac to
You can get a dual rear wright with a sit down option, they've got them, huge acreages your going to need a ventrac or a sit down of some sort, standing will do damage to your body in time.
YES buy and get the duels
Wow! Awesome mower!
From a guy that has been mowing for almost 30 years if you get the 72 get the duels the side of the deck that is on the inside of your turns will tend to cut lower than the outside of the deck making your wheel base wider will help with that. With that said I have never been impressed with the cut of any 72 I have used. I find that a 52 gives the best cut but if you need bigger a 60 is a good size. If you need bigger than that go with a grounds mower which may be what you need mowing 20+acres. With that said I like the old platform v ride or the toro grandstand because they will hold a hill going across the hill like no other that I have used. And if you get in a soft situation you can hope off quickly and give a little push and most the time avoid getting stuck.
sweet mower brian
Knowing Wright I doubt it’s a show mower haha. It seems practical and I think you should consider it!
It happens but solid mower
I think you should get a Deere Zero Turn, Nothin runs like a Deere!
I have used these mowers daily and would take it over the walkers, definitely a quality machine!
I have a zero turn and a Toro stand on mower, I really like the stand on for slopes because if I get into trouble I can just step off. I once started sliding down hill on my zero turn and it stopped suddenly when it hit a tree stump, I was thrown out taking one of the steer levers with me and landed in blackberry brush. No fun, got pretty scraped up.
That Mower, you said it is a Beast... You where paying good attention to that Mud Hole, you could it avoid it, but No you had to get it stuck, for more Fun in the video, Great job thou ... Do Not think or hesitate, buy one on the spot, Wright is a great customer and engineer, family own business and support you will get at all times...
Customer Service First !!!
Maybe you should demo the Hustler also....that's some big area your mowing... Exmark also has a bat wing mower out now ..but it's pricey also
Check out the Ferris Z2 and Z3 best stander out
We mow government manufacturers, schools, large estates, and large apartments all the way down to what I call "postage stamp" accounts. I am intrigued by the stander 72 but I would only put it on smaller accounts. The reason why is that the physical beating you would go through mowing large properties. Believe it or not we use a 72 " on all the accounts but two. You pick what you feel is the best fit for your company. For us it has been Hustler Turf 72 inch, Dixie chopper 50 hp diesel and 36 hp gas 72 inch but the overall biggest production mower we have is the exmark 72" triton, this machine kills everything we have ever had . The Dixie 50hp takes it for thick bush hog work. By the way our Exmark 72 triton is eight years old and still is top dog. Good luck
Hell ya you should buy it no questions asked
Yeah I think you should buy it it's a beast and big to
Makes you wonder, because mud is a concern. Florida get a lot of rain, therefore a lot of mud. It'll do great, just don't mow alone, when you know it's rained that week.
Go for it man it looks like a beast👍👍
Looks fast and wide just what you need.
Buy it and agreed hill never get justice on camera
ventrac mower You should see if you can get a demo of this mower
yes buy one
Just buy a gravely 60” those r tanks and u cant beat it. Thats a hill but we do major slopes with them. I have a 60 ztr 52 and 36prostance love em
Get a couple of Ventracs.
It’s a cool mower and I think you should buy it
If you are thinking about bigger properties and steep slopes, you should demo a Ventrac. There's nothing else like it! (Other than Steiner)
If I was doing big lots like that with the steep hills I would get one. Need the right tools for the job. With that being said you need the accounts and the work to support the purchase.
Also the safety aspect of it, is it safe to do those hills with the mowers you have?
Great, I would buy one
That thing is sick
I think this is great but a ventrac might be more versatile for your business and would work great on that acreage
I don't know if you should buy one of those or if you should try a Cub Cadet zero turn with the steering wheel on the Hills they're very nice
Get a Ventrac 4500 that way you can change decks and attachments opening up more opportunities
Or for properties like that a Kubota F3690 front cut mower
Still great cut, 4wd plus more deck options
Get the hustler 108in deck
I want this job
Damn that’s a machine
Looks like you need to check out used golf equipment for large areas over 5 acres.
If you got the space ot use it, time is money..But a sitting machine you can use as a tractor to pull spreaders, seeders, leaf pickupers.. etc etc.. and mowing large areas you probably would want to sit
You mise well buy those 108" mowers from Exmark or hustler
If your mowing that big of property’s I would say to get it I have a 2015 Wright stander 52 and it is a beast wish I had the 72
Get that 102" batwing zero turn for 30+ acres.
Beast MODE
Demo a Ferris SRS Z3
Some type of a set down mower to keep your center of gravity lower, especially on hills. Just my 2 cents....
WORTH IT when I first looked at it my jaw dropped that would let the customers know who’s pro. Lol great vid
Get a 72" sit down it would be better since your mowing for hours on end.
Hey sure buy one .
Hello everyone
Yes please get it
That's what you need right their
With the acreage you are mowing I think a sit down mower would be more practical. Something like a Ventrac. Not only could you use it to mow but it would aid you on your landscaping side as well. A ventrac would not be as fast but I believe they have a large deck available than a 72". I do not think you should buy the Wright. But it is your decision.
Here is a video Stan Genetic did with the ventrac, I'm not trying to support Stan's channel but he did a factory tour and operated the mower on a 45 degree slope. ua-cam.com/video/g5BPno0LRoY/v-deo.html
You guys gotta keep 2x12 x 10feet long when you hit mud you can life it and roll on them
Why not a few sit down ZTRs for the bigger properties
Why not use a wide area rear discharge mower for that kind of acreage? Hustler, Toro, etc. Plus you don't have to worry about throwing debri at vehicle's.
Toro mower it’s the best
Buy it i have ridden one it is such a good mower does a lawns so much faster u can also buy a attachment where u can sit so it is very good
Your right, its quick also.
It is a beast on the hills you are finally wearing safety vests.
Thisthing does seem pretty nice if youre doing very large properties with not alot of things to go around but personally i dont see a place for it in my company. i have a 64 inch rider and a 54 in and it does all i need. anything bigger seems to really mess the yards up if the ground isnt level
If you have the property that calls for it, go for it. Sweet machine.
Don't feel a long with that situation ,you should see Andy From cut and clean 1. Or 2 ago he got right the same situation...
Yes you should get one
