I am a Ferris owner and fan, but I see the many benefits of the Wright mowers also. So many great machines. Wish I was like Ed and owned one of each!! Lol!! I currently run 72" mowers but have considered going to 60/61" just for the deep grass factor. You guys put a pretty good beating on those mowers from 1" cut (oops!) to the tall deep stuff. People get use to the settings of the mower they are on all of the time. Jumping back and forth can confuse things. That is why I would like to get everything the same so that switching machines or operators is a smooth transition. From a single bolt holding the blades on with the Ferris to the through bolt with the Wright, deck height adjustment settings, and just the controls in general, each is their own animal. Like Ed mentioned with the way a Walker operator runs a mower, you get use to what you run. It took me a while to get use to the differences of running a Ferris with suspension (3200z), and now I struggle with a fixed frame mower because I am out of practice. Looking forward to more videos!! Great opportunity for all of you, and great that you get to share the experience.
Nicholas K I have been running the 3100 and now 3200’s since 2011 and I really like them. They have been a back saver for me. I have become accustomed to the little quirks, but I get a great cut and comfortable ride with them here in the Midwest. I am interested in trying a stand on and inquired about a Z3 last year, but the dealer wasn’t getting any in until they thinned their inventory of Z2’s. I have put 1300-1500 hours on my Ferris mowers about every 2 years.
72" mowers always cut tall grass better than a 60" !! I've done it over and over. Simply because the blades are longer. But was amazed how the 60" Ferris Kept up. @@SuperNoticer I did 2 years ago and not a single issue. Going Wright is somehow wrong. I bought 4 Z3X’s and no more complaints from the boys. They are now finding other things to complain about.
As always, Ed has fantastic observations and insights. Of course he knows his own product, but he’s very well informed about what the competition offers.
Wish Wright still made the wide Sentars with the saddle so you could stand or sit. Peter at Wright gave us an awesome package deal for our Stander and Sentar since we one of the first adopters in the Toronto area. Now everyone’s using them it’s nuts. Don’t think I’ll ever sell the Sentars since everything is easily replaceable, and the deck is heavy gauge steel. The standers I would sell to upgrade to newer units once they become unreliable. We have 1400 hrs on our oldest Stander and 2100 hrs on the oldest Sentar and they are still reliable, so maybe with regular maintenance they will just keep going. We’re still on original hydro pumps, engines, and have only had to replace a head gasket, spindles, and belts. Not bad for what they go through.
Both of these mowers are Beast. I personally went with the Ferris for the articulating front suspension " Its a 61" and it scalps less than my 48" Mower" Also the ride is just more comfortable than the wright. The wright will beat you up after a long day. They are both great mowers IMO. I just chose ferris for those two reasons and we dont have a wright dealer close. My JD stander that is basically kwright both have gas tanks on the wright. The front suspension is a game changer. I dont care what Ed says its a more comfortable ride and less scalping. MY 61 doest scalp a bit. Also on my Jd the belt cover trap grass and leaves causing fires.... I take the off when its leaf season.
I had a 2005 Wright Sentar which is a stander with a fold down seat. This meant I could mow forward then turn slightly on the fold down seat and mow in reverse with out turning at all. Super fast with a beautiful straight line cut. This machine was indestructible. After rolling upside-down in a few ditches several times, I'd just pull it out with my truck and a rope and keep on mowing. The only damage was a broken gas tank strap. Incredible machine.
You have to remember he is talking about the front wheel. Maybe this hole was XL but the front wheel floated over and if the hole was slightly smaller you would have probably rolled right over it with the big tires too.
I met Ed at a maintenance training session for a dealership in OH today. He is super down to earth and great to talk to. I was comparing the Exmark Staris to the X series Wrights. He pointed out some interesting things, but they weren't necessarily things I didn't notice before talking with him. He didn't push one way or another, but from my own assessment I really like the wright in the showroom. He definitely didn't feel like a salesman and came out from Maryland for 50 guys.
Though I would love to have either one it's just not in the budget at this time and just a little over kill for me as I just do lawn care on weekends and a little during the week. I would love to see a comparison between the new Wright stander B 52" and others in the 5k range
Z3 is a monster. Used one for a whole season. Amazing mower. And the wright will scalp terribly compared to the z3. The z3 was the easiest mower for someone who knows how to mow, and also the easiest mower for someone learning to mow. Barely ever scalped with mine. It held a hill better than a scag tiger 2. I’m for real. That stand on z3 might be the best mower ever
To each their own. Running the wright 72 dually for almost a year now one feature that wasn’t presented in this video was how well it can hold and cut super steep angles.
For the record all of the oil is not stored outside of the engine on the Oilguard system . One quart is always in the engine as the oil circulates while running. I completely agree that the decklift is on the wrong side as well as the height adjustment holes. It should be swapped w/the gas fill. Both seamed like great mowers but, this comparison seemed biased. I'm assuming a 61" Wright mower w/same engine choice would be more expensive than the Z3x. That would play a big factor in my purchasing one of the mowers.
Brian... pretty good vid overall. However several things: Should have been two 60 inch deck comparisons. Also, using a finish mower, like these, to cut 2 foot plus grass proves very little. (They are not engineered to produce a good quality cut in one pass in those extreme conditions.) Last, one advantage of a pivoting front axle (the Ferris) that was not mentioned, is the smoother ride it provides on rough ground. Reason is, as a front caster tire goes up or down, only 50% of that motion is transferred to the mower main frame.
Dave Allen we did cut a lot of field grass and 4” tall grass. The other mower series is for regular mowing conditions and regular weekly maintenance work. We’ll be tackling the Wright in spring :) thanks for the feedback!
Hey Brian love the videos but from watching the video it just seems very biased. Idk if it's because the wright sales dude is there or whatever he is...? For example in Stan's video you guys were going on about the Farris control panel and how it's a terrible design but at 21:39 in this video it seems that the wright has the same problem but you guys didn't point it out. Also when you were testing the way the deck cuts going over the hole clearly the wright scalped the ground to dirt then they drove the Farris over it and blamed it on it. All I know is Stan and the other dude where only pointing out the best about the wright and the crap on the Farris. I know you were trying to point out the good in the Farris but the other dudes were very biased. Give this comment a thumbs up if you agree or lmk what you think?
Hey everyone gets their own opinions. Trust me, we tried to stay unbiased as possible, Stan and I. We don’t have any skin in the game with either company really. Both mowers performed well in these conditions. Thumbs up!
That's exactly what I thought. The Wright scalped the hell out of the grass and then they blame it on the ferris. Kind of impossible for Ed Wright to avoid bias considering he owns Wright. He usually does a good job of avoiding bias, but trashing the ferris suspension system made no sense to me.
100% agree. I was very surprised by that. Ed Wright always seems very objective and fair. I think I lost a little respect for him. The articulating front end on the ferris z3x is designed to reduce scalping. It's quite simple it you think about it. The axle pivots as the caster wheel drops in the hole and the boxed frame which the deck is attached to remains square. I watched that section several times and its very clear that the wright deck dropped and scalped, while the ferris remained extremely level. It seemed like Brian really wanted to speak up. But who knows. Definitely awkward.
Ferris z3x hands down. Both great mowers though. Ed was reaching in this video especially with the scalp scene. If I was Ed I would have paid you to edit that out.🤣
Ed couldn't care less. He enjoys the different perspectives and opinions too. He's not afraid of what the competition is doing lol. He's got a great machine there too.
I want to shout out you guys for the videos though I do enjoy them and yes as I red comments I'm not the only one who thinks ferris may take home the trophy. Ed is a great by what I've seen his far and I know the best mower will arise in time.
One thing I would change on the stander" is the black leaning pad " in the summer heat it cooks your twig & berries" I have a yellow. Pad to match the mower alot cooler to the touch in the blazing hot sun" the early ones had a tan color
Great vid Brian I appreciate the work you put in on these. With that said I would need to see these mowers cut on well manicured lawns...I don't care how they cut 2 foot long field mows.
From the video I’d have to say the Ferris did really well. The wright did good! Love the hole where the Wright was supposed to go over but the Ferris really made it look good. Lol. I have a Ferris 700z and love it and a tiger cat 2 scag! I had a stand on scag and you should put that up against these guys! I mowed a clients property at 4 foot tall and it handled it no problem. Never bogged down. Scag and Ferris to me are top! Just make sure on the scag ztr the charcoal canisters are either removed or silicone one so your mower won’t just shut down.
Hopping on both at GIE (not the dually ZK) the Ferris are way more comfortable and operator friendly. I was disappointed after all of the online Wright hype!
Great video! I currently have a Scag Cheetah 61". Tank of a mower, but seems to lack on cutting ability. It will get through a lot, but I am more concerned on quality. It leaves so many stragglers! In your opinion, which stander mower leaves the best cut quality? I don't care how fast the unit can go..who the heck is riding at 13mph?!?!? Thanks for any input!
When it comes to articulated front axle vs fixed there are a lot of things to take into account. With the fixed axle you should technically float over the holes and get a flat cut without scalping. With the articulated front axle you should have less problem with cross loading causing the unloaded rear tire to loose traction. I like what Kubota did on their large zero turn mower. They have a pivoting front axle that you can lock to be a fixed axle so you get the best of both. I would like to see that set-up on other mowers as an optional upgrade.
Kind of hard to give an unbiased review on your direct competition. I really like the dually Wright but I'm not sure that I would spend that kind of money to stand and not sit down
Is there a video with a review on the tweels? them goofy looking tires, any advantages/disadvantages on that one Wright parked there about halfway through the video
It seemed from the beginning that everyone was pro Wright, but honestly, the Ferris, which I believe is an even cheaper mower, did better then the Wright, which on of them has a more powerful engine. Ferris wins, and I don't own either type of mower.
I don't know how you can have battle of the Juggernaut standers without a v-ride 2 Scag with a 37 vanguard. The velocity plus deck has a better rep especially in taller wetter grass than either. The video is definitely entertaining though. Buddy that I work together with can't get a v-ride due to shortages and is looking at the z3x 61. I've suggested taking a look at the wright but late july and all of august includes lots of wet thick crab grass and from those I know the aerocore deck leaves lots to be desired. All of these machines will cut nice beautiful lawns but the key is what deck does the best in all conditions. My two tiny cents.
Hey Brian I love the videos! Ed Wright gave me a new perspective on the wright mowers. I would suggest getting with the other brands engineers and do the same thing and then putting it out there. Can’t wait to see what you put out next!
This comment applies to the first lawn mower yards talkin about when you have four tires in the back you're spreading the weight of the lawnmower out equally that's why it doesn't slide as easy then the other type with only one tire in the back cuz your weight is spread further then normal
The ferris preformed better than the Wright. In the hole test it didn’t scalp like the Wright. And the cut was way cleaner in tall grass for the ferris.
Two very nice mowers…… Ed was stretching on his “pivoting front axle comment”. If he has ever mowed a ditch on an angle he would quick realize how wrong he is when he sees the front wheel and deck about a foot off the ground. Think about it……your car’s wheels are not on a fixed axle….they are able to hug the road independently thru the use of suspension.
Second that. Have engineers for the other brands out to. Total biased. Any seasoned pro can see through it. But it's the 22 yr old kid who looks to his favorite UA-cam content providers that they listen to.. Then they drop 10k on a machine that is talked up by these guys but doesn't perform as well as a quality machine sitting next to it all because of wanting to cling to market share. Embarrassing.
I'm with Brian. The platform on the Z3X is considerably more compliant. The machine is also lighter and noticeably more responsive at low speeds. For these two reasons, I prefer the Ferris. On the flip side, I have to give credit to the Wright. They call it "The Beast" for a reason. The sheer heft of that machine smooths out smaller bumps, and forces the tires to dampen more. On the flip side... that thing is HEEEEEAAAAVY. This introduces a whole different dynamic about when/where/how you mow. Sure, the dual wheels give more flotation... but they're almost necessary. Also, the front tires carry considerable weight as well, at virtually the same size... not exactly the machine you want on thin bladed turf grass with any chance of soggy areas. From my standpoint, the Wright has its place... and so does the Ferris. If you're mowing where footprint isn't a big deal, and you absolutely want/need the most tractable and stable 6ft stander on the market... buy the Wright. If you want the most productive machine with the highest potential return in typical mowing conditions... buy the Ferris... and here's why: #1- EFFICIENCY: lighter weight + more efficient integrated hydros + single wheels = burning less fuel to do the same work #2- PRODUCTIVITY: more comfortable platform + more responsive handling = higher productivity... forget the Oil Guard system. It works, and works well... but with all the other maintenance in that 500hr window, who cares? You're talking about a savings of maybe 20 minutes annually, because that's all the time you dedicate to changing the oil. Even without 500hr oil changes, the Ferris will reduce fatigue and increase productivity in average mowing conditions. Now... as for maintenance, there's a mixed bag here, that simply can't be compared. Independent pumps and motors TYPICALLY last longer... but also include added weight, hoses, fittings, etc., that also require maintenance. Integrated hydros have less maintenance points, but are more sensitive to heat, are more prone to overheat, and in this particular comparison are generally lighter duty components. The good news here, is that a lighter machine with less wheel/tire mass to turn, doesn't put nearly as much heat into the system... and uses less fuel in the process. In my opinion, there are only two reasons to buy the Wright, as a business owner: 1- you perform all your own maintenance impeccably, and are an "end of life cycle" buyer/user... meaning, you operate equipment until the cost to maintain exceeds the value of the mower. In such case, this thing will take a beating. The frame alone, will probably outlive the human race. 2- the specific advantages of the mower are needed so much, you can justify the cost of operation. To me, this would mean some really large steep areas... and enough of them to dedicate a crew to keeping the unit busy for AT LEAST 20hrs per week, in those properties alone. If you can't satisfy both of these, I would suggest a demo of the Z3X. Rent one for two weeks. They offer it in a 72" deck, as well.
Guys, there's one comparison you'll fail to check that is how much accumulation of debris is under those decks, and I bet you that 9 out of 10 the Wright mower has the most whereas the Ferris would be less even with the mulching kit. The Wright mowers with those Oreo cookie deck sucks a lot of grass but it stays underneath diminishing the lift affect living behind a lot of stragglers whereas the Ferris gives you a golf course finish in my opinion. As for the belts of the Ferris is a concern they're engineered so that it would flex when you bring it down, it has a mechanism in the front to compensate for it, besides the lawns that cut in Clearwater, Florida does not go no more than 3" low anyway. The motors on the deck the Wright mower design are too heavy on the deck thus putting a lot of stress on it especially on the rear part called the push rod that holds the deck in place. I had to replaced mines and is not an aftermarket part but homemade at the factory and is not cheap and they are metal to metal ball joint without any grease fitting. As for the Ferris, some had complained that it has too many grease fitting, but I rather have that than to deal with a machine that the majority of the parts are metal to metal, I know had three of them and I trade them in for Ferris just for that alone.
Definitely a Wright Rep favored presentation. Both are great mowers, I feel the Ferris was the better mower. I would have picked Ferris before watching the video.
Pretty obvious Brian that you were the only unbiased person in this video. Ed is a brilliant man but he needs to rethink his words about the articulating axle on the ferris. The Wright obviously scalped in the hole test. Also the articulating front axle is not part of the SRS. All the Z series ferris standers are SRS because of the standing platform. Honestly all these videos are not helpful to a real consumer. It's just a few guys pissing around with a bunch of new mowers with no real accurate comparisons of one unit to the next.
Absolutely man. They’re fun videos but helpful if you really watch and read in to them a little. I agree they’re not practical tests, we have another video series for all of that. This is just for us to weigh in and have fun, and share what’s out there. I have a lot more content to share with Ed providing his thoughts on more mowers, which I thought was pretty insightful. All in all, good content to watch while we’re all freezing our butts off, ha! Thanks for the feedback, always appreciated
Thanks for the vids I do enjoy them and appreciate the content. I was being critical since I have been waiting a long time for this specific video. Was looking for a better comparison is all. I do own a Z3X but I'm not brand loyal to a fault. Went to GIE to try the Zk and was disappointed when I couldn't really do anything with the unit that related to a real world scenario. Was hoping this video would help fill the gap for me. Keep up the good work.
Both are great units. I've had more time on the Ferris and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Wright was cool too. I just haven't had any serious hours logged on it. Hopefully that changes in spring, we'll see.
These are both extremely impressive machines and very well engineered. If I'm not mistaken, the Wright has a slightly higher price? Regardless of price, I would be proud to own either one, but I don't have a Wright Dealer in my region. I'm purchasing a Z3X Fleet, from the Ferris Dealer in my city and I think that is the best choice for me. I really appreciate this video Brothers, because it proves to me that they are both great!
Hey Brian., Love the Video I currently have 2 Wright's about to sell an older model and Possibly get 32 stander Wright, Maybe you could refer a dealer , i use A place but the bridge is under construction, need another dealer .Thanks for any info .maybe you could speak to Ed .lol.Thanks for the great video's always.fellow Michigan Cutter.
If you have to have a non-scalping mower then you have to buy a walker but they are not built for high acreage mowing unless of course you get an H series mower 52 or 60 inch rear discharge no mess to deal with
Thanks for the update on the big dogs. Didn't know you can get those Run Flats for the wright just yet (on the drive tires) great job y'all. Regarding "Which one I prefer??" (Which one has a hundred grease fittings... That's the one I DONT want. ) 😤🤯
4:11 I'm sure the engineers at Ferris were paid thousands of dollars in salary, to design a mower that will "derail" the drive belt at it's lowest setting. I'm also sure they didn't bother go test the functionality of this, before producing X-thousands of units prior to production. I've seen this rep from Wright before. He's an idiot.
LOL Ed trying to show how a Wright scalps less than a articulating axle through a hole and then proves that it scalps more. His comment about the back being solid lifts(misses) irregularities , well the back end of the Ferris is solid also and also lifts the back end of the deck ....after the front has already followed the contour for a nice cut. Think about it ....blade pitch!!!! Picking out a hole to show a design is better is ludicrous and in this instance it backfired. We don't cut holes we MISS them, but we do cut irregular turf. I built a 42 timed deck articulating axle mower six years ago . In very way it works better and scalps holes less than a 36" solid design.
Great video!! I think both mowers are great, but I'm leaning towards the Z3! I love the suspension system, 500 hour oil change, great reviews, & it's red & black lol. The depth guage seems annoying tho
@@zachdavis3068 I thought the dually was the 72 inch. Wasn't the wright with tweels 60"? Also, I really didn't understand was Ed was saying about the suspension system when they drove the front wheels in the hole
Nicholas K the deck on the Ferris isn’t fixed like the wright. It moves with the terrain and can cause scalps rather than his product. The Ferris is 61. Wright is 72.
Sorry on Ed's hole test was set up. He should have run the single wheel machine. Not everyone wil be buying the dual wheels. Plus you guys keep switching Wright machines. Almost like he set it up for different test. Then around 18 minutes Stan came behind and it looked like ferris had a better cut. But thats me I own a Hustler right now.
Again, a comment in the video that is common about the Ferris suspension complicating the design and being another thing to go wrong. In the forums, I have never seen mention of a problem with the Ferris suspension components. I have heard and seen a lot of praise for the suspension in terms of ride and productivity.
Which unit did you guys enjoy watching slice down grass, who came out on top? Comment down below!

After rolling upside-down in a few ditches several times, I'd just pull it out with my truck and a rope and keep on mowing. The only damage was a broken gas tank strap. Incredible machine.
The other dude is all about the Wright. Wouldn't matter what the Ferris did. He would still be all about the wright.
I will always go with ferris
@ NicholasK. It was biased. I felt stanley liked the ferris and he gave a fair review. They are both great mowers either way you cant go wrong.
When I mow a customer's yard, I'm not always having fun, lol. But this looks fun.
Looks to me like Ed was wrong about the hole in the ground. The Wright scalped and the Ferris didn't as bad. Both in my opinion are good mowers.
Yeah I think he was too
You have to remember he is talking about the front wheel. Maybe this hole was XL but the front wheel floated over and if the hole was slightly smaller you would have probably rolled right over it with the big tires too.
We all know the zk will scalp on something like that, ed doesn't even know what to say after what he sees
If these mowers are so good. Then why are these guys not buying them? An honest question.
This video is brought to you by responses at wright mowers...😂
I met Ed at a maintenance training session for a dealership in OH today. He is super down to earth and great to talk to. I was comparing the Exmark Staris to the X series Wrights. He pointed out some interesting things, but they weren't necessarily things I didn't notice before talking with him. He didn't push one way or another, but from my own assessment I really like the wright in the showroom. He definitely didn't feel like a salesman and came out from Maryland for 50 guys.
Ed’s a good dude
This was a great promotional video for Wright mowers...
I think so too
To each their own. Running the wright 72 dually for almost a year now one feature that wasn’t presented in this video was how well it can hold and cut super steep angles.
True legends of the industry on this one. No BS! Great video Brian
Ha thanks pal
Team Ferris! I like Brian’s honesty, he giving honest reviews not showing favoritism to any
For the record all of the oil is not stored outside of the engine on the Oilguard system .
East Tennessee Motorsports man I think you hit it spot on!
We need a Ferris Engineer in this video. Either way great video and simply tanks both of them.
I think the Gravely stand on is one one of the best you can get. Cuts super clean and doesn’t say no to nothing
The Wright was the one that scalped the grass and the Farris deck floated over it.
Wright mowers are built like tanks, awesome demo vid.
Really putting the mowers to the test!! Great video, Brian!
I want to shout out you guys for the videos though I do enjoy them and yes as I red comments I'm not the only one who thinks ferris may take home the trophy. Ed is a great by what I've seen his far and I know the best mower will arise in time.
Theres a small baffle right at the deck/discharge opening on the ferris when removed will fix that late discharge problem.
Great video Brian, I would take a Wright Stander any day!
Exactly, I have a tractor and a rotary mower for 4 ft stuff.
Thanks pal! Love to do more videos in the future on these
Scag and exmark are top not Ferris traditionally
Hopping on both at GIE (not the dually ZK) the Ferris are way more comfortable and operator friendly. I was disappointed after all of the online Wright hype!
I have z2 I HATE raising the deck w my left hand I operate with my left and I want to be able to adjust it as I go. Helps w scalping
I will have a zk in my life im 100% positive
We run bobcats. I run a 60 sit down and a 52 stand on like those. Both are beasts.
I'm getting a wright zk 52 love that thing I'm demoing one!
You've got to make the "Wright" decision!
Seemed a little to biased toward the wright IMO.. but both seem to be awesome mowers.
Meh I tried to be fair for both. Both are fun units though.
That's the main reason I watch grass videos are people cutting grass the gate ideas and ways to do and products to look at
just watched this again the Ferris to me was way better. would be cool to see another vid with same deck size on both mowers and same class.
Brian, tell Jeremiah that my vote goes to Wright first , 5 out of 5, second I give Ferris 4 out of 5. Good luck to the Wright family!
The company I work for, MMC Land Magement, has the ferris. I'd love to try the write.
The yellow one kicked ass
If the Batmobile had a baby it would be the Wright ZK!
Wardor 1992 lol truth
Kind of hard to give an unbiased review on your direct competition.
I really like the dually Wright but I'm not sure that I would spend that kind of money to stand and not sit down
Right has a sit down variant of this with 8 wheels
Rumor has it Scag is building a BEAST stander as well! Can’t wait to see the specs, but I’m hearing it’s going to be an absolute monster!
Sweet!
Did they ever build it?
@@johnmpifer lol
Hey Brian I love the videos! Ed Wright gave me a new perspective on the wright mowers. I would suggest getting with the other brands engineers and do the same thing and then putting it out there. Can’t wait to see what you put out next!
Dear Brian,
Thank you.
Thanks,
C
This comment applies to the first lawn mower yards talkin about when you have four tires in the back you're spreading the weight of the lawnmower out equally that's why it doesn't slide as easy then the other type with only one tire in the back cuz your weight is spread further then normal
What do you do with a stand up mower when you have 15 weeping willows on one property ? Just asking !
Go around them or tell the client to elevate them!
I would like to see videos done with other brand engineers as well.
No one has invited me in. Guess we're not important, haha.
I like both but would like to know which one is more comfortable?
I prefer the Z3X
If you want the most productive machine with the highest potential return in typical mowing conditions... buy the Ferris... and here's why:
#1- EFFICIENCY: lighter weight + more efficient integrated hydros + single wheels = burning less fuel to do the same work
#2- PRODUCTIVITY: more comfortable platform + more responsive handling = higher productivity... forget the Oil Guard system.
In my opinion, there are only two reasons to buy the Wright, as a business owner:
1- you perform all your own maintenance impeccably, and are an "end of life cycle" buyer/user... meaning, you operate equipment until the cost to maintain exceeds the value of the mower.
@@jamescopeland8813 Thanks for the reply. To both of you.
I’m surprised that while mowers are all nice and hi tech now my 1964-1990 lawn mowers have a hydraulic lift and all this new stuff doesn’t.
It was hard enough researching a weed wacker. Deciding on a lawn mower will take forever 🤔
How are the Ferris holding up?
@@SuperNoticer Still running like great.
I'm feeling that Wright - awesome machine.
Doesn't the new Wright mower now have that same once a year oil change with the filter on top?
Definitely a Wright Rep favored presentation. Both are great mowers, I feel the Ferris was the better mower. I would have picked Ferris before watching the video.
So mad 😂😂 just bout to go to bed because i have to go to work at midnight and i saw u posted a video... Now i have to watch it! Love the vids
John Scholly Lol save later get some rest
Yellow mower at 19:03 isn't the same at 19:10. Single airless tires then dual air tires...
Can't go wrong with Wright ! 👍
You're absolutely wright
@@countryboy44647 How do you like the Z3?
Both are great units. I've had more time on the Ferris and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The Wright was cool too. I just haven't had any serious hours logged on it. Hopefully that changes in spring, we'll see.
I now realized why Ed brought the 72. Its because the Wright zk 61 didnt stand a chance. Im curious were you and Stan in on it??
These are both extremely impressive machines and very well engineered. If I'm not mistaken, the Wright has a slightly higher price? Regardless of price, I would be proud to own either one, but I don't have a Wright Dealer in my region. I'm purchasing a Z3X Fleet, from the Ferris Dealer in my city and I think that is the best choice for me. I really appreciate this video Brothers, because it proves to me that they are both great!
Did you buy the Ferris? How's it holding up?
Love the videos man
Hey Brian can you do a demo of the Deere QuikTrak. Thanks man love the videos.
If they demo us one sure
Wow man. What a dope video. Simply said.
The ferris, on wright mowers the scalping wheels on the deck always tend to break or fall off
Hey Brian., Love the Video I currently have 2 Wright's about to sell an older model and Possibly get 32 stander Wright, Maybe you could refer a dealer , i use A place but the bridge is under construction, need another dealer .Thanks for any info .maybe you could speak to Ed .lol.Thanks for the great video's always.fellow Michigan Cutter.
I’d check their website for a dealer locator!
Did I hear Ed correctly ? The Wright is still a fixed deck ? Not a full floating deck ?
Pretty funny watching adult men geeking out over 10k mowers.
Yet here you are watching with the rest of us 😉😎
Monster mowers!!
Regarding "Which one I prefer??"
(Which one has a hundred grease fittings... That's the one I DONT want. ) 😤🤯
Ferris performed much better in each and every test
Also, I think the ferris z3 left a much better cut on the tall grass.
61” vs a 72”. Smaller will be better in the thick stuff...
I personally think the Ferris did better and it’s not our fault they got a 61 Farris vs there 72 they should have gotten a Ferris with a 72 also.
The into gives me a chub. Much respect 💪
Same.
Again, a comment in the video that is common about the Ferris suspension complicating the design and being another thing to go wrong. In the forums, I have never seen mention of a problem with the Ferris suspension components. I have heard and seen a lot of praise for the suspension in terms of ride and productivity.
For sho!
