Grey DeLisle was out of character and forgot she was voicing Ming Hua, so when she said “Why didn’t you ever tell us you could fly?”, her Azula persona was pretty evident instead lmao.

Creating a killer offspring able to bend the element that azula lost too. Water
This woman Kuvira, whose name is suddenly so important to know, has low-key been there most of the season! If you go back, you can spot her in Su's dance troupe and she's one of the ones who fights Zaheer when they try to kidnap Korra from Zaofu.
for real, Korra's struggles with PTSD is half of the reason i defend this show so much, its super well handled in the first few episodes of S4, just wished they did a lil bit more but besides that, one of the best portayals of PTSD in anything
holy shit the fuckin action in this episode, probably the best it ever gets in either series, just watching how hype they were for all of it really wemade me realise that. and i routinely see the confusion about lava bending=something to do with fire bending, and even theories about bolin being able to do it because of his mixed parentage of earth and fire, but lava isnt a combination of earth and fire, it has nothing to do with fire, its pure earth, its just very, very hot.
yup. ATLA was the better arc because it was consistent from start to finish but LOK had the best book in the entire series. LOK Book 3 from beginning to end is epic on all levels
I know they’re done with the show but I also feel like bolin could lava bend because his mom is from the fire nation and his father is from the earth kingdom
But that don't make any sense, lave has nothing to do with fire or lightning, it's just hot earth. like how waterbenders can make ice or steam. I think they even mentioned airbenders heating themselves to stay warm on their mountains It seems lava bending is more rare because you gotta heat up earth A Lot more to get lava than it is to turn water into ice.
No, because lava has nothing to do with fire, it’s just molten rock, it’s just the same thing water benders do with steam and ice, they can heat it up and cool it down, which is why they can lava bend
When everyone is mounting Lefty, part of the lava flow directly on the right of the opening goes nowhere and just ends halfway down the screen. In the first shot of Kuvira bandaging Tonraq's arm, the gauze is applied directly to the bicep. In subsequent shots, the gauze is coiled over a skintight sleeve that was not a part of Tonraq's shirt during the initial wrapping. When Oogi first comes into view, he does not have the saddle on him, but as soon as he lands, he does.
Zaheer let go of his earthly attachments when P'Li died, unlocking his full potential. Aang had to let go of his attachment to Katara to gain control of the avatar state to reach his.
It’s funny how Korra never really had a fair one on one fight against zaheer they always handicapped tf outta her just so he can stand a chance and look more impressive as a villain
When zaheer starts flying, Roshi reaction is literally me. Everytime. I just can’t believe he standing over a cloud cover like it ain’t shit then takes off like Ironman!
i'm guessing hers, the amount of pain was probably about the same but he never saw it coming while she probably had a moment to realize how screwed she was.
Makko and Bo-Lin had fore and earth bender parents, so Bo-Lin being able lava band actually makes sense because of the type of chakra he has, fucking continuity 😭🔥
I think a cool theory about Lava Bending and why Bolin can do it, is that his mom is a fire bender and that helps him control his chi to heat up the Earth similar to how fire benders are able to naturally create heat and fire using their chi. This is somewhat supported by the fact that the only two avatars we see lava bend were born fire and earth benders respectively. We don't really know if Ghazan is half Fire Nation, half Earth Kingdom like Bolin but with 3 out of 4 the cross between fire and earth bending seems to be important
Except that's not how lava bending works. Lava bending was seen way back in ATLA. It's simply heating up earth until it turns molten. It has nothing to do with having a parent that can fire bend.
@@ironmatrixs748 Doubt it. There's nothing that states that having parents of different nations makes being a rare breed of bending easier. Lava bending is just making earth hot. There's no fire involved in doing this, so I don't think having fire bending and earth bending parents makes it any easier or harder to perform.
@@krazytreRTM lava bending wasnt seen in atla, it was the avatars who could control molten lava while in avatar state, they had to take the lava from volcanos
Makes sense that Aang can't fly since you need true freedom and peace. Aang would never have that because he was avatar for his entire life and was constantly trying to bring peace to the world until the end.
"They're gonna have to bend this f*cking lava *laughs*" >Literally happens five seconds later "SHHEEEEERRRRAAAAAAA!!!! SHEERA, WHAT!?!? HOW did you call that on ACCIDENT!?!?" Sometimes, those predictions are scary good... so keep them up :P
They established Ghazan as an earth bender when they first introduced him. Zaheer threw rocks into his prison and then he used lava bending to cut the wood and break out.
Btw unlike metal bending lava bending is not something you can learn so you must have a mixed heritage. I can’t remember which but one of Bolingbrook parents was a fire bender while the other was a earth bender so it makes sense for him to be able unlocklava bending since it is a mix of both
I think that the reason why Bolin was able to lava bend instead of metal is because he's not a pure earth bender. It runs on one side of his family and fire bending runs on his other side.

@@KEEMchoosen777 Yeah, despite some of its flaws, still enjoyed Korra a lot - but I always wonder where the series could have gone if they could have a smooth production making it from season to season from the start.
I know it was short lived, but nice to see some of the antagonists for this season have a good romantic life (simple, but effective way to humanize them and make them more interesing). At least P'li and Zaheer seemed like they had that good ride or die love. lol
season 4 is literally a romance drama with hella fights
@@ikilledzombie2140 But they weren't ride or die though, Kuvira was ready to sacrifice him (so their relationship was easily broken by her and she didn't seem to care that much about it when she made her choice for her goals). lol
@@raec5426 haven’t watched in a minute so ur probably right. But that choice she made was hard. Also Korea and Asami action😏
@@ikilledzombie2140 I was talking about the antagonists only and Kuvira didn't seem too broken up to shoot him with the energy beam. lol
@@ikilledzombie2140 I was just making the point that I feel like I don't recall seeing many good romance stuff with main antagonists with shows, especially cartoons (that usually don't involve someone sacrificing the other and/or using them for personal gain).

the "SHEERA SHEERA" took me out idk why but the screams are always so funny omg

That's why there's a smoking hole in the ground when Zaheer turned around to find P'li.
This woman Kuvira, whose name is suddenly so important to know, has low-key been there most of the season! If you go back, you can spot her in Su's dance troupe and she's one of the ones who fights Zaheer when they try to kidnap Korra from Zaofu.
The real PTSD of Korra begins
@@GradietPanda12345 !?!
for real, Korra's struggles with PTSD is half of the reason i defend this show so much, its super well handled in the first few episodes of S4, just wished they did a lil bit more but besides that, one of the best portayals of PTSD in anything
I really have to sleep but this reaction is so good
"METAL BENDDD"
This temple is completely made out of stone lol.
Enter the void reminded me of Bruce Lee's quote about becoming water
(At 12:16) screw the metalbending moment! We have the lavabending moment!
8:54-The lava is going down with gravity,so they should go UP to escape it!
holy shit the fuckin action in this episode, probably the best it ever gets in either series, just watching how hype they were for all of it really wemade me realise that.
and i routinely see the confusion about lava bending=something to do with fire bending, and even theories about bolin being able to do it because of his mixed parentage of earth and fire, but lava isnt a combination of earth and fire, it has nothing to do with fire, its pure earth, its just very, very hot.
yup. ATLA was the better arc because it was consistent from start to finish but LOK had the best book in the entire series. LOK Book 3 from beginning to end is epic on all levels
I literally get chills every time is see Korra STILL fighting non-stop even when she’s chained up. This episode gets me hyped every time I watch it.
Sheera's reaction for predicting Bolin's lavabending just before he did it was comedy gold
Tonraq: thanks you saved my life, captain:
Kuvira: you can call me...Kuvira
Tonraq:...why do I hear boss music?
Been waiting for this video all day. Can always count on yall
I know they’re done with the show but I also feel like bolin could lava bend because his mom is from the fire nation and his father is from the earth kingdom
Oh shit that actually makes sense. Wish we could've seen more combos like that.
Makes sense given we don't know Ghazan's lineage, he may have the same mixed fire/earth bender biology
Exactly. It's a blending of the elements.
But that don't make any sense, lave has nothing to do with fire or lightning, it's just hot earth. like how waterbenders can make ice or steam. I think they even mentioned airbenders heating themselves to stay warm on their mountains
It seems lava bending is more rare because you gotta heat up earth A Lot more to get lava than it is to turn water into ice.
No, because lava has nothing to do with fire, it’s just molten rock, it’s just the same thing water benders do with steam and ice, they can heat it up and cool it down, which is why they can lava bend
3:02 LOL, the way he slowly looked over, HAD ME, lolol
Zaheer definitely needs respect put on his name. 🐐
14:57 underneath the earth kingdom, remember when Zuko and Katara were brought there?
When everyone is mounting Lefty, part of the lava flow directly on the right of the opening goes nowhere and just ends halfway down the screen.
In the first shot of Kuvira bandaging Tonraq's arm, the gauze is applied directly to the bicep. In subsequent shots, the gauze is coiled over a skintight sleeve that was not a part of Tonraq's shirt during the initial wrapping.
When Oogi first comes into view, he does not have the saddle on him, but as soon as he lands, he does.
“Death by snusnu” LUPASAAAAN STOP 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Sheeeera!
Sheera: Poggers

Zaheer let go of his earthly attachments when P'Li died, unlocking his full potential. Aang had to let go of his attachment to Katara to gain control of the avatar state to reach his.
It’s funny how Korra never really had a fair one on one fight against zaheer they always handicapped tf outta her just so he can stand a chance and look more impressive as a villain

Bolin! I love Bolin. This episode was hella stressful. This whole season is popping.
Bolin, my man! Is a lavabender! One of the most rarest sub-bending abilities! I love him too.
10:32 damn, idk which death was worse, hers or combustion man.
i'm guessing hers, the amount of pain was probably about the same but he never saw it coming while she probably had a moment to realize how screwed she was.
Makko and Bo-Lin had fore and earth bender parents, so Bo-Lin being able lava band actually makes sense because of the type of chakra he has, fucking continuity 😭🔥
Finally time for Bolin to get his hype
Remember the first thing Zaheer did to the lava guy was give him a rock to break out of his cell
“An eye for an eye.” 😂 The unintentional hilarity.
"I'd like to talk to you about my religion"
Shows clip of Sheera's predictions.
(At 8:24) If the handcuffs Korra has are platinum, who's to say the ones Tenzin has on aren't?
The reason Bolin can do that is because his parents were of both elements, Fire and Earth.
Im deadd the sounds u played while they blew her head up caught me off guard😭🤣
10:32 love seeing everyone's reaction to this.
I just noticed Roshi said “fart on him” 🤣
The look on sheera face when she was right about the lava bending is absolutely amazing 😭😭 even she was like “what the fuck I wasn’t trying” 😂😂
Sheera: Metalbend !
Everyone else (Me included): Metal bend what ?!
Kuvira! I love how season 3 has such a huge impact on season 4. They tie together directly, I didn't notice it upon first watch of Korra.
A theory is that earth benders who have a firenation/firebending parent can lava bend
Cool
Except that's not how lava bending works.
Lava bending was seen way back in ATLA. It's simply heating up earth until it turns molten. It has nothing to do with having a parent that can fire bend.
@@krazytreRTM yea but it could make it easier to do
@@ironmatrixs748 Doubt it.
You know this channel is dope as hell when you can hear the intro when your volume is muted.
Makes sense that Aang can't fly since you need true freedom and peace. Aang would never have that because he was avatar for his entire life and was constantly trying to bring peace to the world until the end.
makes a lot of sense that Bolin can bend lava, since he's half fire nation, half earth kingdom.
"They're gonna have to bend this f*cking lava *laughs*"
>Literally happens five seconds later
"SHHEEEEERRRRAAAAAAA!!!! SHEERA, WHAT!?!? HOW did you call that on ACCIDENT!?!?"
Sometimes, those predictions are scary good... so keep them up :P
I NEVER get tired of seeing ppl's reactions to P'li's death. Always priceless😂😂
"How is he making it hot?"
How does a water bender freeze or heat up water?
They established Ghazan as an earth bender when they first introduced him. Zaheer threw rocks into his prison and then he used lava bending to cut the wood and break out.
I wonder if there would be any on-screen deaths in LOK if Disney ran the show
Btw unlike metal bending lava bending is not something you can learn so you must have a mixed heritage. I can’t remember which but one of Bolingbrook parents was a fire bender while the other was a earth bender so it makes sense for him to be able unlocklava bending since it is a mix of both
I think that the reason why Bolin was able to lava bend instead of metal is because he's not a pure earth bender. It runs on one side of his family and fire bending runs on his other side.
or maybe its just recessive gene?
Lupa:*starts humming Spiderman*
Me:I liked that
