Substitution of x1(s) in equation is incorrect, where is reaming part written as in original F1(s) equation.
Mam you left something in between while Substituting X1(S) in F1(S) ..

when substititing X1(s) from the M2 free body diagram, you missed the content in F(t)
M2 it does not have Ft since no reaction force on it check the previous tutorial

It depends on the reference point, if M1 is your reference point then k(x1-x2)
But if your reference is M2 then k(x2-x1)
Why is the force fk2 in FBD for M1 is from bottom?
You made a miatake whilesubstituting x1(s) in equation 1 one term was missing
