oh i'm so glad i found you! I'll start with a hobonichi weeks for the first time in 2023 and I have no idea how to start. I would also like to decorate nicely and now I find your videos super helpful! you save me hehe :) Thank you very much and more of the content please. (sorry for the strange English, I'm German) Greetings Melly :) p.s. your planners are so pretty 😍😍😍😍
Thank you for sharing your technique! May I ask where do you find your images? In a future video, would you be open to sharing this strategy from the very beginning - choosing an image, formatting on a computer, printing, and then tipping in, please? Thank you again!
For 2023 I got me a hobonichi weeks. It is my first time. My hubby is making my cover. I am looking for non dated, plain or graph notebooks, same size of hobonichi weeks. Do u know where I can find some?
Thank you so much for sharing your technique! I’ve always wondered how this thing was made and never found it. Now you’ve made me discover a new world of possibilities 😂. May I ask, why do you stick a washi string between pages, before sticking the vellum? Wouldn’t work without it?
Those are actually tipped in pages 😅 My previous video explains better, but basically I took out a section of my 2022 planner and tipped them into my 2023 one (using the same technique I showed here). You can can absolutely use the washi on the vellum directly onto a page 😊
I do a rough cut based on some other loose inserts I have hanging around, but another easy way is to put the vellum inside of the planner and trace around the edges, cut that sheet to that size, and then you can go in and cut it a little slimmer & shorter so it will fit in nicely 😊
@@themomplannerthank you so much for sharing this!! Absolutely loveeee all of the fall vibes when you made this video!! Also….loved the random sounds and yelling! 😂 from one mom planner to another - I get it! 😅❤ I hope to see more of your content released soon! 🙏🏼🫶🏼
Are you creating these patterns yourself? Would love to see more content surrounding this since I want to do these at home but don’t know what are the supplies needed. Enjoyed this video since I am a Hobonichi user myself!
Almost all of mine are purchased from shops! I’ll be doing another video soon on shops that I love and ways to find new places to shop from for planner supplies and accessories 😊
This video was exactly what I was looking for. In printing on vellum, have you found there to be differences in the quality of particular brands of vellum?
I haven’t paid too much attention to the brands, I find the gsm to be a better indicator - I have a pack of 93 gsm and one of 113 gsm and I prefer the 113. The higher gsm tends to be better to work with in my opinion! 😊
Does it matter which side of the vellum you put the washi? I noticed you placed it on the back side but I didn’t know if there was a specific reason for this or just simply for esthetics/personal preference? Great video!! Thank you for sharing this technique! 🙏🏻🖤🧡🍂🎃🍁💀🦇
It doesn’t matter for the purposes of placing the vellum in the book, but I find that turning the pages is a tiiiiny bit smoother when the tape is on the back 😊 But either way will definitely work and for super cute washi that compliments the page you’re tipping in, I think it looks cute to put it on the front so you can see it more clearly when the page is open!
super cute!! I love all the "interruptions" too!

Cute vellum! Where did you get the bright orange leather cover?
It is from Planner Room Refill on Etsy - she doesn’t currently have this color in stock, but she has some beautiful covers!
Thank you so much for this video! What size are you cutting vellum prior to trimming slightly
