The gecko story is definitely in my top 10 comedy bits of all time. I remember my wife and I cracking up so hard many years back when we first saw this, so much so that the gecko face with "What? What is it?" has become something we use every now and then when one of us wants to act innocent to try to get out of trouble. 😂😂😂

Haha I'm from Australia and I'm so used to geckos being everywhere that I never considered what it might be like for foreigners when they visit. They really are harmless and actually quite cute.
Little bastards are always harping on getting car insurance, though.
There are so many more scary animals to worry about.

We have gheckos in South Africa too and we like having them in our garden.

In greece they are considered to bring good luck to the house. I dont know what our relationship as a whole with them is, but i ve always liked them :)
I'm a safa, same I guess they like warmer climates, but thought they were one of those unanimous/ creatures that live throughout the world, like pigeons, flies, mozzies (mosquitoes), cockroaches etc. Plus they're good as they treat the smaller, bad bugs like showers & flies
About 7 years ago I saw a few videos of this gentleman and I thought to myself, "how can this guy not be the most famous comedian on the planet?". Fast forward to present day after completely forgetting about him and I must admit that the world is not just. I will never forget about you again. Funniest human that has ever existed

Of course these are the same jokes because he was on tour! In different cities! And UA-cam has a collection of them. It's like saying U2 should come up with new material because they sang the same songs in Montreal, Tokyo and Japan. I'm hearing these jokes for the first time and they're hilarious!

If you think THAT'S bad my grandparents visited the south pacific in the 70's and they stayed in little huts. As soon as it started to rain they hear this *poof *poof *poof of something hitting the floor. There were tarantulas living in the thatched roofs of the huts and they were fleeing the water and dropping out of it. Other tourists there were walking around with umbrellas so the spiders wouldn't drop on them. Much worse than geckos, IMO.
Fun fact: the name of the lizard in the Geiko comnercials is Martin

As someone who lives with geckos everywhere, geckos are good, they eat all the small bugs like spiders & flies, stheir actually harmless, although maybe aussie ones ate poisonous somehow), some might consider them cut, the only issue with them is their poo

They're equally harmless. Only, some spider species have a way of making you regret accidentally squashing them a bit. Most can't even do that.
Motel is meant to have a limited stay from 2 to 5 days, and some you need to have an actual car. Awhile a hotel generally has no stay limit!
